I attended this back in something like 2011 with my 1st Gen AllTrac (in rough though original condition). I met a few of these great people including Marlon with his pristine red Carlos Sainz GT4 (AllTrac). We were the only 2 Celicas there and were embraced as part of the family. I did the drive and the meet. I got lotsa cool tips, saw lotsa cool stuff and witnessed great creativity in peoples builds. They definitely made me rethink my options for my own car. (White wheels!!?? Never! Well maybe...) I had a truly great time. I've stopped by once since in another ride as my build is, shall we say, ongoing. But I hope to make it for next year!

I have a super white 1993 MK2. Aleays wanted a red one,SMG or the green metallic. However, some of the darker blues really look amazing on the MK2. Great vid.

Great video 👍 I loved that Caribbean blue with the tidy engine bay. I wish there was a way I could bring my 96 rev 4 Azure blue GTS over from the UK for one of these meets. You guys never got the rev4 or rev5s.

I don't blame that guy at all for "putting you in your place" as you said haha. As a Canadian I can testify that most Americans have always acted as if we are from another world. I live in Ontario but was originally born in Victoria B.C. (Vancouver Island) Anyways, I remember a story my parents told me many times. They were walking on the beach when an Older American couple approached them. The woman pointed to the water and asked: "Is that a Polar Bear"? My parents replied: "No that is a Harbour Seal". That was the day my parents realized Anericans really do think we all live in Igloos. ;)

my bro has a mr2 in the garage for like 10yrs TD06 turbo built forge - I think has some kind of vacuum issue but now just covered in dust

The repro seats at @19:04 are great, I have a '98 Turbo and the "man in dandism" text part is on a leather liner that slips over the top of the seat, it wore really fast and looked shabby so I had to take it off, underneath it's just seat, no dandism text :(

I can vouch for that! I drive a '94 ST205, the mini AWD Supra. Ryan should definitely make an ST185 or ST205 his next project car. Nothing else drives like a GT-Four!

bruh some ppl can't afford to pay 1k.ish per wheel to look cool...im on xxr and imo, i rather buy 1 set of cheap but good looking wheels to see if i like the style then buying the 4k - 6k setup and get tired of it after 1 year.
There are quite alot if us on legit work meisters(me including). But there was a big mix of wheels(alot of rfp1 enkies, popular choice of mr2 owners)

Overkill .
