From our spring counts, out of 16 horses guess how many had to be wormed? 0!!! 🎉🎉🎉 all those chemicals saved 👏 Westgate are so awesome too with their advice :) ♡ I'm so glad you are getting the word out there!
Great info and it’s scary to think how this could affect us long term if we don’t make changes. I’ve used Westgate for a good few years now and also find it more cost effective than just worming unnecessarily too🙌
I remember a vlogger called Shadow the Unicorn doing a vlog on this years ago! I thought how interesting! They dont worm their horse unless the results of their horses droppings! They don't vlog much these days which is a shame as they made me realise is everything so necessary!
I don’t worm my horses, which sounds dramatic but they don’t go out on pasture, as there are other risks far worse than worms, they are fit and healthy and are treated with probiotics to keep their guts healthy - you can test for sand ingestion by putting a small dropping in a bucket of water till dissolved the sand will remain in the bottom of the bucket when you tip the water out.

You totally have an horsie influencer in your barn! Zora is destined to be a model 😂😂
Your videos are always so interesting, even for people like me who don't have horses.
I hope this becomes available in Canada! Worm counts are an options but they can range from 30-$90 per horse I have found
Such an awesome educational video. 🫶🇳🇱
Tobacco used to be fed to horses to de-worm them. May have to go back to it. Actually, I haven't used padte wormed in decades.

I already do this. Also why poo picking is important.
