I loved this video! It was so chilled! I do agree with her parents for her to move back to L.A.! They are like most parents who want their kids to be near them, and it's okay! I know you prob don’t want advice for Monica on your stuff, but teaching the dogs a “place” command is a life saver! It’s not too late to teach them and that way she can enjoy being on the couch without having to yell at them! Only bringing it up bc we had the same issue with our dogs.

no not at all I lived alone in seattle! But In Palm Springs, especially in the summer, a lot of people leave and my parents live in a 55+ community so everyone is much older than me it’s a bit isolating

You should get a smart thermostat and set a schedule for the a/c. Plus you can check up on it remotely, have it notify you if it’s in an extreme temp zone, and have maintenance reminders scheduled.
I love seeing your mom so happy! Living her best life in the sunshine after being in Seattle area for so long. In one of Monica's videos she talked about how hard it was being in the gloom for weeks on end. Im glad she is enjoying sunny CA now :)

Orange County or Ventura County is cleaner, less crowded, and more friendly(in a Real way) than many parts of L.A. But.. if you do move to L.A. I would pick the beach(Hermosa/Manhattan/Redando) OR Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank OR Studio City/Encino/Woodland Hills/Sherman Oaks OR Century City/Westwood. I would [avoid] areas such as Downtown/Hollywood/West Hollywood/Silverlake/Los Feliz.. Just my Opinion 🦋🦋

I suggest you get a wifi connected thermostat so you can monitor and control the A/C. It would be good to shutoff when no renters and pre-cool when you or others are planning on coming. They are only like $100-$200.

My dad relocated and I moved to his state he lives now. It's more rural than what I'm use to from CA & NY. But I'm use to it now. I get so much more for housing. My house in like Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, or Aliso Viejo is was a million. 😂

If you’re considering moving to be close to your parents, it would make sense to flip the Airbnb model to rent out your Seattle townhouse if you’re not gonna spend much time there. "Guess The Video Title" . . . Ok, Shelby, I'll take the challenge . . . I'm guessing you're filming locations in Los Angeles where you had "memorable" experiences when you first moved to LA . . . For example, "I had a great steak at this restaurant on a blind date. Then we got outside and the guy plants a kiss on me in front of the valet. I said, "I'm not that kind of girl!" And he said, "But I thought you liked the steak" . . . After that experience, I said, "No more blind dates!" . . . so . . . Here's restaurant #2 where I had another memorable blind date experience" . . . easily 1 million views :)

Even after solar is installed, you still want to conserve electricity. The chances are pretty good that solar is not going to cover 100% of your yearly electricity needs. Excess electricity that feeds back into the grid can be used later (credits) for when you are using more electricity than you are producing or if you're luck it will produce a net yearly credit so you don't have to pay anything to the electric company. You probably already know that when you have solar you only get one electricity bill per year.
Annual billing isn’t necessarily accurate. We are in So Cal, and have monthly “bills”, which are negative about 10 months of the year.

I think you should move to Cali. I mean that in a nice way; you just seem more miserable in Seattle. Not ALL the time, but you definitely seem to enjoy your time in California more than in Seattle. It feels like the situation you're in should be reversed; living in the California climate but traveling to spend some time in Seattle instead of living in Seattle but visiting California? Just my two cents. :)

Another great vlog! From my perspective as a viewer you definitely seem more happy and relaxed in Palm Springs and Seattle. It took you a bit to settle in Seattle but idk you just seem more at peace now, like you've found the lifestyle combo that works for you where you get the best of both worlds.
Being a UA-camr is not a conventional job, some would argue it's not even a real job at all... Do you think this makes it more difficult to feel productive compared to a regular job? Do you measure productivity in the number of videos produced or just the work you've put into it?
You can't keep going at 100 mph. That brick wall if you're not careful just slams into you. Balance is good. Chill and then accelerate. That's how you get great ideas,
