No matter what, I'm crying just because Our Lord entrusted Her to the care of His Beloved Apostle John! Wherever he(John) went, he would have taken Holy Mother Mary with him! Mary had to leave Jerusalem for her safety, but tradition holds that she went back to Jerusalem before she died, and her body was assumed there, as was Jesus. There is evidence of a women's monastery just below her house in Ephesus.

Given these facts, it would not be inconsistent for Mary's house to also have been surrounded by hardship.

How did Her body get back to the Holy Land. Her body was supposed to have been transported back to the Church of Nativity .
