- In this vid i look at how the reverse around a corner can help you develop your reversing skills to make the parallel park and reverse bay park easier. I know the reverse around a corner is no longer on the driving test but its incredibly useful to understand how to steer the car when reversing.

I’m having lessons and very early on my instructor taught me turn in the road and reversing round a corner. Got to start learning parallel parking and the emergency stop this week.

Please did u turn full 1 turn at the reference point before you maneuver or full 2 turn am confuse
I'm the generation that had to learn all these skills. Reversing 2 cars back does seem rather easy.
Very true but the test became more about complex driving rather than reverse… I can see the benefit of that but some of the older reverse manoeuvres are still very beneficial.
It's still a manoeuvre in NI
Unfortunately it is still not clear when you start steering 3-9-12

Turn in the road is easy - get a family member to help you - do it a few times , you will get it !
Reversing around a corner was an old manoeuvre 😂😂😂
I was thinking that when I was making it 😝 very useful though I prob use more than turn in the road.
