Brandy had a different approach to her singing when she first came out. She was fearless in her approach vocally.. She used to sing like she knew she could do no wrong.. Today she’s a bit safer. I want her to go back to being that fearless vocalist who sang exactly what she felt in that moment. #VocalBible
This is very accurate. She had a youthful freedom and exuberance to her tone that was gone by NSN. It comes back from time to time, but it’s not consistent.
Brandy was a melding of the best of the trinity. She danced like Aaliyah (not as good but good enough) and had vocals like Monica(but better than the other two). Years later we would see that she can actually dance as good as Aaliyah (dancing with the stars). She rose to the top of the trinity as time progressed in my opinion
