Hi Lass-in Angeles, as many of the machines you have may be considerably larger than our standard 60 cm x 60 cm 'footprint' we are unable to help directly. however as you say using a strap is a good safety tip if you do stack units.
is a little vibration/shake of the dryer normal when the bottom washer is gaining speed to spin? once its found its center balance,dryer doesnt move. dryer vibrates when its tossing clothes. normal? no major movement. nothing seems weird. just wondering whats expected.

Can I stack an LG 24" "compact" dryer on top of an LG 27" "fullsize" washer? 3" width difference means 1.5 inches on each side. Looks like stacking kit that the guy in video used MIGHT work.

During designing the feet position of the dryer may be chosen or altered to ensure the top of the washing machine is reinforced at that area. For these reasons stacking two machines from the same 'range' is less likely to cause damage or be a problem. However most machines are robust enough to allow stacking with one of these kits.
For the second kit shown, is it also universal? From the looks of it, the second kit's size is fixed, it does not look like it can adjust around a a variety of sized machines.

Hi Patty, Looking at your washing machine the display is likely to be obscured by any stacking kit. Also it should be noted the maximum width or the kits we have is 600 mm so would not fit wider machines. We do not have information on other suppliers but most parts listed can be supplied to most areas of the world, to confirm a part simply add to basket and change the delivery country at the check out stage.

Although LG dryers are quite heavy as tumble dryers go they are unlikely to be heavier than most washing machines due to the thicker tub and drum and the additional weights fitted. In addition if a machine spins 'out of balance' it would be safer for the washing machine to be under the dryer.
Hi, that is a very helpful video. I am shortly moving to a house where they currently stack their machines of the same make. However we have a Panasonic w/m and a Miele t/d. We can't decide whether to invest in a stacking kit which may not suit the w/m or ask someone to try to fit a shelf instead. Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks!

djwinger2003 It is not an ideal situation especially if your dryer is a heavy condenser dryer. We would suggest you offer the appliances up to each other and make your own judgement on this. It may be useful to ensure there is additional 'feet' towards the back of the machine to ensure the dryer is transmitting its weight on to the machine below and not just onto an area of 'rail' that is overhanging the top of the washer.
Thanks for the answer. Yeah that's a really good idea to add support legs at the back of the washing machine. It may be my best solution. Alternatively I could buy a 40cm-depth dryer but I don't think they do a stacking kit for those.

Hi stupmylumpy, the stacking kits can be used with different brands, just need to remember that the sizes need to be 60x60cm and you should be ok.
