This video makes it look like Michigan blew out Air Force but in reality Air Force played a close game. They played Michigan as well as Florida did. That just goes to show that size and strength isn't everything and that sometimes what you need is heart.
Pat John Lol niggaz like them bum ass cheating programs i see😁Yo aint no fucking wit us my guy u get get what we want u to have spoon fed cry baby ass recruits bitching an moaning Da Big House know nonthing of them type of players only yall programs produce overrated Bums i was waiting foe niggaz the start barking just so i can say shut da fuck up trash ass niggaz crying... Urban still doing qb read option? Shit getting old still playing basic ass zone or blitz on Defense? Nigga please he couldnt coach shit i watch 13 15 year olds throw better than qb he coach...Bum
Coming from a Notre Dame alum, playing these teams isn't as easy as it seems, is it???? A win is a win in college football. Don't ever let anyone tell you the academies don't give you everything they've got. THEY DO!!!!! They're all heart. *LOVE THEE NOTRE DAME.*
People expect freshman to play as well as the seniors that left. They've made mistakes, but the foundation is being established. I think fighting through early games can be an asset. Last year they blew so many teams out early, they seemed not conditioned in games towards the latter part of the season, when they had to play all 4 quarters. Also, the defense is only going to get better.
Not happy with how Michigan won. This could end up helping Michigan winning these close games. They having to fight for everything they get and the defense is leading the charge. I'm a firm believer in putting teams away but this close games experience is good for them. Last year Michigan was coming up short in close games besides Wisconsin. Michigan has the weapons special teams is looking better just need more solid play from the quarterback finish off drives and get better on 3rd down conversions!
Literally Peters would be what Sam Darnold was last year went he became starter a few games into the season. Peters has more upside than speight and O'korn but we never see him out there. Harbaugh is being loyal to his seniors which I respect but maybe to a fault this year because we can get upset any week the way speight has lead this offense. Just terrible.
They usually don't make the cut (I try to keep things around ten minutes if possible) unless they're really long or really important. I guess I could have included all 5 of Nordin's FGs and still been under 10:00 :)
Defense looked Great (as always), offense starting to concern me... If they're up by more than 30 at half against Purdue, put Peters in. Let's see what he's got!〽️
OP Videos What makes you think Michigan will be up by 30. When they were only up 3 at half on Air force. Michigan will lose if they play like this again against Purdue or anybody else. Offense is horrible right now.
Any updates, by the way, on the health of Tarik Black and Ty Isaac? Both were hurt yesterday, and I've heard some rumblings that one (or both?) of these injuries might be serious. Let's hope not. We need a healthy team going into league play.
I've been a Speight defender for a long time now, but after yesterday, well...I might be done defending him. What gets me is that on the throws he misses, he isn't even CLOSE. Good case-in-point during this game, when he threw an endzone fade, and didn't even give the receiver a chance, because it was out of bounds by 5 yards. Absolutely ZERO touch on his passes. We've gotta be better inside the redzone -- and thank God for Nordin, by the way -- but field goals aren't gonna get it done all by themselves in Big 10 play.
Well, let's see, plenty of folks are unhappy with the QB play so far, and it is underwhelming, but since Jim Harbaugh is the head coach, and he has named Speight as the starter, I am going to defer to him, seeing he has more experience at that position, and coaching that position than literally everyone who has commented on it, or anyone else for that matter. The head coach at the University of Michigan is Jim Harbaugh, I thought that maybe everyone seeing this in print would perhaps calm some nerves.
The perception that Air Force is a cupcake and we should've won by more is a misguided one. Air Force won 10 games last year, is a damn good team and is extremely well coached. My only complaint is the play calling in the red zone and the under utilization of Peoples Jones and our size. We should be throwing jump balls to gentry if we're inside the 20. They had no problem getting to the red zone, but had a big problem finishing when we got there. With our defense, all we're going to need to win is to dominate time of possession. I trust Harbaugh to fix our problems before Penn State.
Dominic Smith it's a combo of play calling and Wilton speight being bad. He has made both mental and physical mistakes down in the red zone every game. He missed at least two easy td passes today and possibly 2 or 3 more that would have been contested but we will never know because he threw the ball at least 5 yards out of bounds on those throws.
I thought I was going to see a balanced highlight reel. This was obviously made by a Michigan fan. You guys have a lot of work to do before Big Ten play starts.
Nope, balance has never been my thing (subscribe to WolverineDevotee if that's what you're looking for); that's why I title my videos the way I do. I think the defense is in fine shape but I agree the O needs to get its shit wired tight before the schedule gets tough.
Airforce runs 90% run and 10%. Passes are open as a result of the scheme a defense uses against such a play-calling imbalance. If you pass more, then the defense changes and wide outs won't be as open.
Kenny G Choonit there qb was getting killed every time he dropped back. Trust me u would not be seeing those guys getting open when ur getting hit every play like u have no offensive line. It looked like a high school team playing an 8th grade team every time they dropped back to pass
It amazes me how the offense went from being able to at least move the ball on the teams they have more talent than to what we look like now. The play calling has a lot to do with it. Gentry at least ran the route that Jake Butt was open on almost all the time. Where are our screens.. Where arw our delayed draws... Where is our offense...
Sooooo we call a conservative game plan bc it seems like we don't trust our quarterback to be competent enough? Yettttt we don't make a change? Figure it out! Something's got to give
I'm a spartan and all year I been told we're going to roll you but these teams are playing at the same level some announcers are saying msu is playing better them uofm it's going to come down to msu vs nd then Michigan vs msu we're both problematic rn and nittny lions are probably going to roll us both
He didn't throw any touchdowns, but he also didn't throw any picks. Plus he completed just over 60% of passes. I'd rather have him overthrow than under throw to risk a pick anyway
Oh no -- he did. I was at the game and they showed in on the big screen, on the replay -- and he was definitely out, and it wasn't even close. In fact, pause this video at 0:31, when they show the replay. His left foot is completely out of bounds there, and it's clear as day. I agree 100% with Jacob on the lousy holding call, though.
NOOOOO!!!! Are you serious...c'mon? This has to stop. He is literally the only person keeping Michigan from being serious National Championship contenders. They have great players at almost every other position..
Other than 1 solid running back and one solid receiver, the entire offense is keeping us from moving forward, the right side of the O-Line is bad, Our other receivers have been pretty bad since we lost so many good ones this year, take away Ty Isaac and we don't have a running game to speak of. The offense has been all around garbage. It's not just Speight. He is a major contributing factor, but if you think by just replacing him will make us National Contenders, you're only fooling yourself.
Alex Zoltowski not only him but look at our offense as a whole. The O line still sucks, well the right side. Also Chris Evans= 3rd down back period. I wish Kareem Walker wasn't hurt he could have gotten some carries today. If TY is hurt Higdon should start.
Thank you for your quick uploads. Great work as always
Always feel a little better after watching just the good stuff
Greetings from se Asia. Thanks so much for posting!
Offense has to get better no excuses
This video makes it look like Michigan blew out Air Force but in reality Air Force played a close game. They played Michigan as well as Florida did. That just goes to show that size and strength isn't everything and that sometimes what you need is heart.
Lookin like Donovan peppers-jones on that punt return
Why am I watching highlights when I watched this game today
Jacob Helderman lol
Jacob Helderman We Da shit dats why Go Blue
Why does Michigan suck every year? OSU always cleans their clocks.
Year 3 and somehow our offense has regressed. On the bright side, Bush is exactly the linebacker I've been asking Santa for since forever.
Young wide receivers and asking Perry to do things that small receivers cannot do. Bunting not a comparable replacement for Butt whatsoever.
ThoseWhoStayUofM bunting...does he even play anymore.
I Will say One most important positive about Michigan's offense. Their QB know what to do while under pressure
How the hell did you get 9 minutes of highlights
Hard. Goddam. WORK.
Not happy with how Michigan won. This could end up helping Michigan winning these close games. They having to fight for everything they get and the defense is leading the charge. Defense is still nasty, lucky for Speight. He is not getting it done out there. Put Peters in before Captain Turnover costs us another osu game
Blaz3r I hope ur right about ur darnold comparison. Darnold is the best qb prospect since Andrew luck.
Speight's play has been frustrating. But, uh, what turnovers did "Captain Turnover" commit against Air Force?
Josh Rosen is a much better looking NFL QB prospect right now than Darnold. I would take either Rosen or Darnold over Speight right now.
@@blankname6629 this aged well
Michigan is looking very good this year especially the defense considering they have lost so many starters. Harbaugh might just surprise everyone.
i love the highlights. out of curiosity, why do you hardly show any field goal scores?
They usually don't make the cut (I try to keep things around ten minutes if possible) unless they're really long or really important. I guess I could have included all 5 of Nordin's FGs and still been under 10:00 :)
parkinggod oh yeah I see. Makes sense though
Michigan is ready defensively they have to keep improving offensively.
Defense looked Great (as always), offense starting to concern me... If they're up by more than 30 at half against Purdue, put Peters in. Let's see what he's got!〽️
OP Videos that's if they can score enough to put backups in
OP Videos What makes you think Michigan will be up by 30. When they were only up 3 at half on Air force. Michigan will lose if they play like this again against Purdue or anybody else. Offense is horrible right now.
Defense looked excellent, offense still needs a little tweeking, but we have our running game for sure
DONOVAN "PEOPLES TEMPLE" JONES IS GONNA BE A BEAST
Any updates, by the way, on the health of Tarik Black and Ty Isaac? Both were hurt yesterday, and I've heard some rumblings that one (or both?) of these injuries might be serious. Let's hope not. We need a healthy team going into league play.

DPJ i see ya

They can get down the field, but can't execute in the red zone

He missed at least two easy td passes today and possibly 2 or 3 more that would have been contested but we will never know because he threw the ball at least 5 yards out of bounds on those throws.
I predict that UM will play in the Pepto-Bismol Bowl this year.
This is assuming that their kicking game remains decent.
I thought I was going to see a balanced highlight reel. This was obviously made by a Michigan fan. You guys have a lot of work to do before Big Ten play starts.

There are going to be a lot of sore Air Force players tomorrow, Michigan's defense loves to hit.
The quarterback of air force need to fight fear, and throw the ball deep man. His wide outs were wide open.
Airforce runs 90% run and 10%. Passes are open as a result of the scheme a defense uses against such a play-calling imbalance. If you pass more, then the defense changes and wide outs won't be as open.

Air Force's offensive line has the stopping power of a pile of Cool Whip. Michigan should be ashamed that this game was this close.
And here in week three, our offense is still unable to put up more than two touchdowns
Big Blue.Defense..is a definite problem😆👍👍
Devin Bush (#10) is fast man
It amazes me how the offense went from being able to at least move the ball on the teams they have more talent than to what we look like now. The play calling has a lot to do with it. Gentry at least ran the route that Jake Butt was open on almost all the time. Where are our screens..
Where arw our delayed draws...
Where is our offense...
Big difference between #7 in the country and #1 or 2.
Our Offense SUCKS
Yeah I've been disappointed all year so far. Our D looks awesome though.
Trash. Its going to bite them in Perdue.
I'm sure Harbaugh will work on red zone offence this week because we haven't been good there
AF looked better on offense than did UofM.
Don't know why you are complaining.
Alan S I cant trust Speight just yet. The first two games where really bad on his part. I do worry how he will respond in the next big game
I'm starting to question Drevno as OC
Sooooo we call a conservative game plan bc it seems like we don't trust our quarterback to be competent enough? Yettttt we don't make a change? Figure it out! Something's got to give
I'm a spartan and all year I been told we're going to roll you but these teams are playing at the same level some announcers are saying msu is playing better them uofm it's going to come down to msu vs nd then Michigan vs msu we're both problematic rn and nittny lions are probably going to roll us both
I'm curious to see how MSU will play against ND. Definitely a big statement game. The loser of that game is going to be in deep crap
most modest spartan fan ever
This offense has more problems than a lemon car
Can you say, "Fair weather fans." ?
So much negativity LET THE KIDS PLAAAYY. Great football game go blue!
I'm not gonna say it, I'm not gonna say it, I'm not gonna, get Speight off the fucking field already!
I think everybody said it at least once... everybody except Harbaugh, apparently. No interceptions. Just a lot of bad decisions and inaccurate throws.
He didn't throw any touchdowns, but he also didn't throw any picks. Plus he completed just over 60% of passes. I'd rather have him overthrow than under throw to risk a pick anyway
I don't think ty Isaac stepped out on that long run.
Andy Tihonow and on the other one I don't think that was a hold
Oh no -- he did. I was at the game and they showed in on the big screen, on the replay -- and he was definitely out, and it wasn't even close. In fact, pause this video at 0:31, when they show the replay. His left foot is completely out of bounds there, and it's clear as day. I agree 100% with Jacob on the lousy holding call, though.
Just post the defense from now on lol
Thank all mighty God this is the last year that Speight will be the Michigan QB.. He is fucking terrible.
Hulk Smash 24/7 He still has 1 more year of eligibility next year.
Yeah speight has 1 more year cause he's a redshirt junior
NOOOOO!!!! Are you serious...c'mon? This has to stop. He is literally the only person keeping Michigan from being serious National Championship contenders. They have great players at almost every other position..
Yea just wtf I want him out he does literally nothing I was there,
Other than 1 solid running back and one solid receiver, the entire offense is keeping us from moving forward, the right side of the O-Line is bad, Our other receivers have been pretty bad since we lost so many good ones this year, take away Ty Isaac and we don't have a running game to speak of. Don't get to excited Michigan fans you bet a Mt. West team that doesn't pass
Christopher Peterson and they beat an sec team that does pass. In fact said team won on a last second bomb of a throw today. Nice try though haha
Christopher, read the comments section... literally NO ONE is excited right now
Speight has gotta go
Alex Zoltowski not only him but look at our offense as a whole. The O line still sucks, well the right side. Also Chris Evans= 3rd down back period. I wish Kareem Walker wasn't hurt he could have gotten some carries today. If TY is hurt Higdon should start.
lol cjmike... go back to Madden on easy mode man. You don't know shit about actual football.
slimj091 oh I'm sorry you butthurt over Evans getting replaced by Ty and Higdon after he fumbled.
I'm not butthurt. You just don't know what you are talking about. I thought you should know that.
Not happy bout this game, against Air Force, really??
Ryan R. Same here I no the option is hard to defend and our defense held up. They are legit. Offense on the other hand..
Ryan R. Air Force is actually very underrated. They’re a pretty good football team. But we should have scored 40 points
To be fair, I believe Airforce was top 10 in rushing offense last year due to their famous triple option
Michigan doesn't belong in the top 10.
I unfortunately agree
I think the beating Michigan put on Florida jacked up their ranking way too high. Michigan is probably due for an upset in Big Ten play
A.F. Offensive line is GARBAGE!! Omg!! This game should NOT have been this close!
Flintsvariety - Well, not too fun to be 40 lbs and a few inches less than the guys you are blocking...
Size isn't everything
Also they aren't garbage they are just playing a great team and you are watching Michigan's highlights so of course they look bad
everything is in place accept for our garbage ass QB. Just like last year
bet um drops 3-4 games, they suck!!!
Rex Kern They don't suck lol. I think my team (psu) will have a tough game running with Barkley
