I have a new KW T880 with disc brakes. When the disc gets replaced should the bearings get replaced at the same time? Can this machine do that as well?

Hi Jerry, Thanks for your question. We are unable to offer maintenance advice for specific vehicles and suggest you follow the manufactureres recommended practices.
I know we have a customer in the USA who is using BrakeMate® to assist in changing bearings but I believe it would only be to hold the hub/rotor whilst doing so.

Have you tried using one of these lol. Too much fannying. Try get hub on firstime.. Then try to start caliper bolts. Ours is covered in dust. Only TIME it's used is when it has it's LOLER exam.

Are you sure it is a BrakeMate you have and not some other tool? We have only sold into the UK in recent months.

Great for all buses and truck/transport industries, just one will save any worker from putting in a compo pay out due to lifting more than OHS reg's ? :) Also getting the older more experienced Mechanic's back to doing the harder work without breaking a sweat. :)

По идее все гуд и красиво, но чем меня раздражают такие видосы, так это тем что машины на которых это все демонстрируется новые, меняют новое на новое, все нормальные люди это понимают, а продавцы думают все наивные пацаны, такого типа видосов много, иногда хочешь посмотреть что то полезное, какой то съемник, открываешь, смотришь, но понимаешь, что это все хрень, если бы это продемонстрировали на автобусе который ходил кучу времени, у которого прикипели диски к ступице, да хотя бы у которого колодки изношены были(если кто не заметил 15я секунда, колодки толщенные), то эта вся хрень быстро бы продалась, так как демонстрация в рабочей обстановке это самая лучшая реклама.

Only Murica has oil hubs these days. Most now are preset bearings. 6 knocks on impact gun and its tight and secure. Lol

Brake dust,used oil are bad for health,invest some money to buy gloves for workers.

I'm pretty sure there's minimal amounts of brake dust in a disc brake system,compared to the simple drum brake. Old grease is not much of a contaminant. Bleeding calipers isn't too messy also, i'm sure they'd have other equipment for that purpose.
