@@Dark_In_The_Light Billain said he wasn't really happy with the first version of the remix which was totally different. He spoke to nik about it and he said "give us cyberneuro". Simple advice but really effective 😂
One of the best remixes I've heard in my life. This is coming from a dnb nerd who has been listening to it since 2007. And Stigma is one of my favourite Noisia tunes (along with Concussion, The Tide and "Alice" remix).
this is exactly why is Billain for me on next level than other great interprets, noisia - stimga is legendary neurofunk track, but billain by insane details, sound design and his own style take neurofunk on anotether universe
I cannot follow the melody. I liked the advanced drum patterns and i can see the extraordinary work. But without melody, it's nothing. This is a common problem with d&b genre.
This style of dnb isn't about melody, it's about intricate sound design. Complaining about melody here is like going to a great vegan restaurant and complaining that they don't serve steak.
I can follow the melody. Can't distinguish bassy notes? Lol. All sounds have "notes", harmony or dissonance, which are all valid ways to express music. All synths, no matter how strange they may sound, have a melody they create when they are played. Thus a synth can be off key. And the sounds in this remix are not off key. So the melody is there, even if it's extremely simplistic. Microtonal music and glides are also valid music notes. If you were to try it for yourself and remake this track, you'd very quickly realize it's incredibly hard to make such complex noises fit together, musically, structurally and thematically. Point is, skill issue.
@@moodswinggaming2972 Right on. Immensely harder than any composition idolized by someone who would call this senseless noise. Boi, you need a PhD in sound design, sound engineering, physics, IT and maths bare minimum here. This is peak sound design, as for music... melody and harmony are merely a part of music, and on top of that a melody is very much present here, no matter how simple. And knowing how to make something sound good with as few notes as possible, without it actually being off key? It takes some skill, musical and rythmic skill, more than most think. Music makes you feel something, and this makes you feel something. Pure unbridled energy. This is music.
A PERFECT EXAMPLE WHAT A REMIX SHOULD BE!
in the top 3 noisia remixes ever imo. it's able to respect the original while giving it the most insane twist possible 💀🔥
I can imagine that Noisia themselves probably loved it. I can't hear much of a "Vision" influence, this just seems like pure Billy boy

So brutal🔥
listening this song had the same impact on me of my mother walking out of the house when i was 11
Same
and now you're 12?
Now she won't leave my house 😮💨
When I even saw this title I was shocked. 149:2. 19/02/2023. 13:26. 1 416.
kad mene koji se uglavnom ježim na deep i emo house naježiš dramčinom na oko 3:15... jasno je da je u pitanju čista pobeda od remixa
i opet na 5:05
THIS IS CYBERNEURO.
Psyneuro
Stigma balls.
Billain turning Noisia - Stigma into Noisia - Sigma

Music, or noise, you decide...
Beautiful chaos. Hard to do well. Mastered here.
