genuinely as a theater kid and actor watching the telepathic communication between Shayne and Amanda’s eyes before they start pushing each other in the teletubby costumes is so iconic. being so locked in that you only need your eyes to communicate with your fellow actors is such an incredible feeling.
There’s a term for that - complicité! It’s when the ensemble communication & energy is so on point you feel basically psychic. Comes from Jacques LeCoq ☺️

My grandpa used to literally do this. Back when he was a kid ice was sold in big blocks - those blocks were how you did refrigeration and why freezers still have the nickname of the ice box.
Well, my grandpa and his friends would all get together and buy one of these big blocks of ice during the summer, take it to the top of a grassy hill, and slide down over and over again until the block was too melted to use any more.
