Thanks for the opinion. I'm looking at pros and cons of these two solutions. UA-cam's captions have the big advantage of auto-translations.
Maybe you could have your captions and then have the UA-cam ones over them if people want it to be translated?

You can place UA-cam subtitles in the box, so they can cover entirely original subtitles. This can solve problem with "looking well". BTW I don't like subtitles in YT on PC either. For example in 20:03 they cover text with prices.

The UA-cam generated subtitles work well. That way you can still read the text when you pause the video instead of blocking it with the play bar as it did in your other videos. Keep up the great work!
Unless you are on mobile which means letters or sometimes words get hidden :(

And I'm not sure if you showed it in the vid, but the windshield has windows that open, and also the couch in the back folds down to be a bed.
Oh and I personally think it is a pro that this set has limited collectors value. Lego continuing to make it means that people can buy it for a decent price and don't have to fight with scalpers everytime the set goes on sale!

Dobrze, że w późniejszych zestawach Creator Expert ponumerowali torby i posegregowali klocki, bo szukanie ich w tym zestawie było dość uciążliwe, trzeba było wszystkie torby otworzyć i grzebać.

I don't mind the YT captions, but as a preference, the embedded ones look much more stylish and fitting for your videos.

Couple of notes I have , tilting your screen upside down during the speed build is an interesting effect ( no doubt to being. Change to the usual way there filmed ) and the UA-cam captions are definitely a downgrade but awesome review as always , looking forward to the next sariel .

Great review Sariel, I believe there is another edition of the box where it is thinner which I have at home, I agree it shoulf have been a bit larger, butit is still a very cool and impressive set especially for Car lovers. It will be hard to sell this for an investment in the future, but I might pick up another one of these just in case, and two of the VW Beetles. Maybe the Volkswagen company does not want this set to be retired.

I personally think it's great that Lego are keeping potentially highly collectable sets in production for longer hopefully in an attempt to stop people cashing in on certain auction sites and charging extortionate prices for them. 10188 Death Star lasted from 2008 until this year, even then I think it was only discontinued because a new Death Star is on the way. 10214 Tower Bridge has been around since 2010 and still available now, 10234 Sydney opera house is in its third year and showing no signs of being discontinued. 10218 Pet shop has been around since 2011 and still available. They really need to rerelease 10179 UCS millennium falcon though!!!

Great video as always, but I really struggled with the subtitles. I do not know if it was my chromebook settings all wrong, but the subtitles filled the screen and were very pale, making them difficult to read. I liked the rest of it though.

I love the new style. The lightning is awesome, and I love what you've done with the animation. YT subs were not a big problem to me, but your older ones make your videos look much more polished and clean. Also in some points your text was too white on the background if thtat makes sense (sorry, I'm not a graphic designer or anything)
UA-cam's CC SUCKS!! Font is too small and colors are hard to read. Even on my desktop.
Please go back to using your rendered captions.
Hi Sariel. Nice review, I like the new details in the video review, but please don't use the CC of UA-cam. It takes too many space and cover the details that you are pointing in the video. (For example. When you were comparing this with the Superstar destroyer, I couldn't see the data of both models, it was covered by the subtitles :/). That's what was happening in my Tablet Z and YT app.

Hello Sariel. I usually watch your videos in a big screen but, as others said, CC's on mobiles/tablets are way too large. One option (pardon me if it has already been suggested) would be to ditch the CCs entirely and instead embed your own on the top of the screen, rather than the bottom, so they won't get covered when pausing. Great video as always, thank you!

Sariel, I personally loved your own captions better than UA-cam subtitles because the subtitles are almost impossible to see (white letters on white background don´t work well)...

I don't mind the YT Captions. As far as the english translations go, it was very good. An unecessary "a" was added when you were talking about its size compared to the box. But thats not a big deal.
The major thing to be concerned of is that you have to watch te video in Landscape mode on mobile. If you watch in Portrait mode, the captions get cut and you cant read the whole thing. It ends in a "..." So I cant post comments or browse your channel or something else like that while the video is going because the captions get cut off and you cant read the full thing.
But either way you choose is fine. I'll still always watch your videos but thats all I have to say about the captions. Good job 👍🏻

cool video! however, i found it better with the old subtitles in the video itself. the new ones cover up a lot of the screen, its hard to see the actual video. Id prefer you to return to the old system! :D

I hate youtube captions cuz they don't work with mobile devices (I'm writing this comment with Google's own Pixel C) at all.
Aside IT crap, I've put a flat piece to support the main cabin doors and it's more sturdy and the doors open/close far easier. All done by exchanging some parts from cabin roof part. No visual difference unless you lift the cabin roof to see underneath it. I'm not sure why they didn't change it after all those years.
I think the coolest part on this vehicle is that you can open the windshield!! I can feel the wind already! Also the surfboard picture actually means something if you get this set alongside with the vw beetle. I hope they release updated version of this van with much advanced build technique from the beetle. In fact this set -> mini -> f40 -> beetle shows how TLG evolves, IMO.
oops, gotta proofread evrything... They don't work -> they don't work well.
I dont mind the youtube CC but they are a lot bigger then the ones you used before and take up a lot of the screen.
UA-cam captions make it impossible to view on mobile - they take up half the screen sometimes more

You can change the size of the UA-cam captions. You just have to decide between "big enough to be read" and "small enough to see the video".

Ryan Sze Um, do you know how real railguns work? They need magnetic fields and metal rails, and you are not getting either out of plastic Lego pieces.

That depends on a LEGO set. Some come with numbered bags, some don't. This doesn't, as clearly shown in the video, so yes, even if you were building it, the bags would not have numbers on them.
