These two honestly, they are like an old married couple that just defi time.... Always connected.,... thay have out lasted any other DJ duo...... for me irreplaceable...❤🙏👌
thank you so much for putting up this video and for putting in the extra effort to include of the details that you have provided. I was there that night as well at the very front, in front of Digweed. Just a magical evening/morning.
Two of the original trance Godfathers. With know exception. Resorting to playing American EDM rubbish. From mid nineties to early two thousand. They where Gods. I know. I was there. 🙏.
@JurassicTrance The great mystery track at the 38 minute mark has finally been released: AVIRA feat. Grace Ackerman - Run To You (John Digweed & Nick Muir's Extended Heads Down Mix)
Lol, in the beginning of the set the names “Sasha” was on the left and “Digweed” was on the right of the LED screen when in fact they were standing opposite. Lol to that and stuff
Does anyone have Alexander Graham’s opening set at this show? There was a song with the sickest bass lick that I have ever heard, and I must obtain an ID.
Whatever you used to record this it does a great job drowning out much of the audience putting the music above it with such clarity. The video portion is pristine although moves around too much with zooming in and panning out. Thanks
Cheers thanks for the feedback! Admittedly I was a bit worse for wear toward the end! Pleased with the result, though! I’ve got another live show going up any moment now! (Just waiting for the upload to finish processing)
Some dude was dressed up as a full wizard complete with a staff and beard (I think from the Twilo days? Before my time) You can see the staff on the right at 1:30
@@JurassicTrance I see him in the video now, I used to go to Twilo weekly but don't remember him, I'm guessing he was a Friday night patron, I was more Saturday, we had "Grandpa Twilo" who was deaf but did a waltz around the entire dancefloor over and over and a few other oddities
Seems so formulaic now, standing there with heads down like statues. Even the poseurs have gone. Back in the day there was all sorts of loiterers and shenanigans going on behind them in the booth.
There were some pretty good moments I didn’t catch on film - some new IDs were pretty great. Would’ve preferred the original Netherworld personally. Most importantly was a good time! Would have loved to catch a set back in the Breeder/Twilo days.
If you listen to old tapes (!) or even CDs of Sasha DJing back in the 90's it was a whole lot more fun and lively; Whitney Houston acapellas and all that stuff, "spinning plates" live.... It used to be an actual party,,, The whole scene is all very serious & rather dull nowadays IMO.
1st club I ever went to was Twilo NYC with Sasha and Digweed playing....oh the late 90s.....
I practically lived at Twilo for a few years. Great times...
I went to my very 1st Sasha John Digweed at the Shirne Auditorium back in 99 I’ve haven’t looked back since it opened a new door in my life!
Make sure to catch them this coming may. They’re playing in LA !
The best duo.... Nothing sounds better than these two legends sharing the stage
So good to see these two mixing together again. The best duo in my mind.
The Dynamic duo
Second best for me. Deep dish is my number one duo
@@noelcastillo8276 They were dynamic 20-25 years ago. This set is slow and boring.
@@basadake still on top of their game after all these years, so they must be doing something right.

@44:25 somewhere on West 27th circa 1999 .....memories of that sound, echoes....forever in my soul ! - Much love Sasha & Didgweed

Wowsers! Thanks for sharing. I don't suppose a full recording is available anywhere?
Yeah, this is a very very special mix. WOW. I need more - please help!
Yeah I think this is the closest to a full recording there is. Let me know if you find more. Was a great show!
Already on my fourth listen!
Now on my umpteenth listen, so good.
My favorite of all time!! - but also why does Sasha always look upset? lol
Cuz he got fat & lost hair & Digweed didn’t😅 J/K
please record these sets and release them somewhere, I will bankroll the entire pressing.
rip them off youtube and convert them into any format you like.

too bad the set is constantly interrupted by commercials

Not sure to the extent it’s the venue. Mirage doesn’t really let people back there, smaller clubs are a bit different from what I’ve seen.
