Great Video, it's short and perfect. Great work. One thing, I think during graduation one should try to clear as many actuarial exams as possible upon clearing CS1 and CM1, they should also try to clear CS2 and CM2, and if they still have more time...try to clear CB1 OR CB2. Competition is increasing every year, so I highly recommend clearing as many actuarial exams as possible.

I personally feel that in order to stand ahead of the competition, it is important to also focus on developing other skills apart from clearing actuarial exams.
I have observed that there are some companies (specially Indian core companies) that hire actuarial Freshers with minimum 4/5 exams, whereas there are also other companies that are okay with 1-2 exams. So it completely varies.
@@theactuarialquest3267 Yes, Agree developing other skills are also equally important. Companies would prefer a candidate with 3 actuarial exams + basic other skills, vs 4 actuarial exams and no other skills.

If we learn advance ms excel with AI tools, a certified course along with proper knowledge and skills from recognise platform like udemy, I think that's a good option to demonstrate our skills.
Hi mam, the exams for Acet is scheduled for June 2022. It's still 5 months from now.... Is it possible for me write Cs1 in September 2022? The results of acet will be out on July 2nd... If yes then how can I prepare for Cs1 from now? Can I buy material now and start studying even before i get my eligibility for Cs1? Or shd i just prepare for acet?

Hi, it is a professional course, like CA, CS. The institute for Actuarial science is IAI(Institute of Actuaries of India) just in the same way as ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) is for CA.
For actuarial science, many Indian students also take membership with Actuarial institutes of other countries like IFoA (UK) , SOA (US) etc.

Hii if I m preparing for actuary frm IFOA and don't want to buy frm institute, are there any cheap option to buy study material? Also do SOA(US institute) conduct their exam in india? Plz provide ur mail id where I can some more questions.
Students can buy study material at reduced costs by applying for reduced rate membership with Ifoa, if their annual income falls below a certain limit, as specified on IFoA website.
