the 8th one is actually a blue light 😅, it shows where the blue lights box is, it’s where traction current isolation switch is at, and next to those blue lights are the emergency exit, but the exit for NEL doesn’t lead to surface, it goes to the adjacent track just my two cents :)

Just a overrun tunnel. Punggol Coast is actually already really close to Coney Island, so there's not really a point extending the line there.
