- I have been saving quarters in my piggy bank since 6th grade. The piggy bank was 3/4th filled with quarters. I decided to wrap them all up in wrappers in order for me to deposit them to Chase. Please enjoy this video! And remember to save your change!

I don't have a piggy jar. What I use are the gallons of milk. I started saving last year and will continue until each one is completely filled. Then I will take it to my bank. Thank you for sharing your video with us.

It does seem low, but that is because I didn't purposely go out of my way to collect quarters and put them in the piggy bank. It's all saved up from extra change I had in my pockets everyday. Hope that makes sense! Regardless, the point is to keep your change!

Wish you would have taken the time to check all the coins if you had collected them for that long because you actually could have got rich on just a couple of them if you would taking the time to check them. You could have had some error coins

A while ago I purchased two beautiful Piggy Banks (like the one pictured in the Cocomelon song) for two of my sisters and their kids to store their coins. Unfortunately, the kids broke the Piggy Banks within the first week and the mommas have not replaced them since.
Does it mean my effort to help them learn to save was perceived to be as valuable as the Piggy Bank?...
For an added bonus; I save change when available and average about $100 a year, because most purchases are electronic.
I take out cash alot just for the change, I love filling up the container and love counting it, so happy I was born in a time where it's still around
