If you eat fish, especially catfish, then you’ve definitely had Swai. So many restaurants got in trouble for selling swai as catfish to cut back on cost.

Most Fish is now farm raised. Unfortunately! Most grocery store staff can’t tell the difference between the two…. So unless we start sourcing as individuals we’ll never be sure!

Sounds like how Tilapia just popped outta nowhere in the 90’s and became super popular then we started hearing all types of bad intel about nasty fish farms years later. It’s just odd how certain breeds we’ve never eaten or heard of just appear en masse and they’re almost always curiously cheap.

The food looks good and I have had swai fish and I was told it wasn't really a real fish. They said that it was like a put together fish. So minced fish. It's ok doesn't really have a flavor I usually do what you do by mixing the tartar sauce and hot sauce. I'm a fan of catfish, talipia,cod, and Pollock. Never had red snapper, croaker and perch.
You look for what people , and the tastes there looking for and enjoy,it’s about the cook,who he,fill about the day,cooking what ever is done with love understanding heart,if you fill good about your food it will show in your cooking .
