Hi, I’ve just bought the same washing machine but the 12kg model. Is it possible to use powder detergent or it’s only liquid? And what do they mean by manual detergent? Can we fill the automatic dosing and the manual dosing at the same time and still choose which one to use? Cause I have a 1year old son who don’t use the same detergent as us. Thank you
Hello, there are very specific questions and you it would be best if you consulted the user manual. Manual detergent means it's not auto dosing - you put in what you want. I beleive you can deactivate automatic dosage, so it only uses the manual detergent compartment and whatever you put in there, including powder. I hope that helps, but I would double check with the user manual.
As in the combo machine? That's a difference model to this one I think, so not sure I can help you on that one as I haven't used it. Have you given Hisense a call?
Please I juts got mine smde model, please at what point does the autodosing collect soap into the drum, because I just set mime for quick wash 15minutes it's spinning and collecting water but I don't see any soap om the drum at 9minutes I need help
So, you're not sure if the auto-dosing is working correctly? It sounds like you mihght just need to call customer servcie and to talk through your exact problem.

I just bought this machine but the detergent and softener dispenser is not working. The detergent snd softener stays in the container. How will it work? I cant find in the manual

@@motivatedtravel I rang the store where I got it from and explained what’s been going on and they were very good and went through stuff with me ( which we had done anyway) & we are going to return the machine….not that that’s an easy thing to do….customer service from Hisense did ring but I missed the call, I rang back but the choices to choose department from weren’t a ‘help’ department or such like but an order for parts or check where my are are department. Maybe they will ring back today? I won’t be getting another auto dosing machine….Thanks for your reply.

I believe it needs to be a liquid. You could disolve the powder maybe, but would be a hard mix to get right.
The idea of the appt is so they know how much water you your using as some countries charge for how much water you use

In The UK you have a water meter on most homes that's pay per use, well pay per meter of water / litres

you have the hisense 5S not 7S, the 7S has a Colour Display not LED Display
This video is of the 2023 model, perhaps it was updated in 2024 to a colour display?
Unfortunately the auto dosing doesn’t work which is ok if you just want detergent but if you need fabric softener don’t buy this machine.
