Honestly I'm not a church kind of person heck I don't really even believe in all of that stuff but I go to this church whenever I can and I love it....unlike other churches where you get board this one entertains the whole time you're there....and good job on the drums the band was spot on!!!!!!!
With almost 15k views I'd say the message of this video went beyond the number of people in the church. Casey is an amazing talent. And he shares those talents with the world. This video has meaning. To bad you can't recognize that. Great job Casey.
Hey Casey, I just want to tell you how much you've inspired me to play drums. I started about 7 months ago and I'm already playing in my school's German Rock Band and I just wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you are to me and I wanted to thank you
I think you have ridiculous talent man, drums are certainly something I'd love to be able to play (more than a simple rock beat haha) and that feeling is made a lot stronger by hearing your covers and seeing how much fun you have, whilst playing the songs. I play Piano and French Horn but when I get out and start making a reasonable amount of money, a drum kit is definitely one of the things I'd invest in. Keep going man! :D
Just letting you know that I started playing drums after I saw you play and you spin your sticks. I was doing great in guitar but you you inspired me to play another instrument. You are a true hero and Thank You! Hope to see you in the future as a star! (Bigger than you already are)
***** I played drums for like 4 years and I saw synyster gates rip out a sweet solo when I saw them live and I instantly wanted to play guitar. I got my guitar in april and now I can play a whole bunch of a7x songs :D
Hey Coop3r, great drumming as always. :) Am curious what's the title of the strong at the end and is there a video of the entire song somewhere in your list?
Awesome cover man most people in your position would have been extremely hesitant in posting something advertising their personal religious beliefs, but I think it's really cool that you did
Wow very creative and awesome performance. Hey I was wondering if you could do a song by Rise Against? They are a very high energy band and I think some of their songs would be perfect for your style of playing. Anyways keep doing what you do, you are an incredible player!
Most songs arent meant to be entirely pointed at one subject. Even if this song had a different meaning when it was written, it definitely fits in this context. Open up your mind and stop being so closed to everything.
Hey Casey Awsome video! I notice that you don't have a shield around the drums, does it get really loud up there without anything to hold back the sound?
I don't know if you're into gaming but you should check the drums in super smash melee bros ost. It's really cool with interesting part. check it out !
All that production for a Church with a crowd that looks to be below or about 100 people...all that tax-free money that could have been donated to charities or put back into the community and instead it's spent on thousands of dollars in production value for a crowd of less than 200 people in a Church. Makes sense. Also pretty ironic song choice given the nature of the venue. I like your covers dude, and you're a great player, but all the details about this video are just lol-worthy.
There is atleast 200 people there, and they played on several occasions. Also Churches budget for things, so that they can afford it. Also some of the equipment could have been donated. Well i don't know about America, but in Canada, you can get up to 75% of the money back in tax deductions if you donate to charities.
The church sees over 1800 people ever Sunday and is growing exponentially. It's because of the production and excellence of the experience that they are able to grow and in turn give back to the community. But I can guarantee that this wouldn't be possible if they didn't put in the time and money to make sure that they have the most engaging experience possible.
I'm the lighting Designer for the church, the crowd size for that experience was over 400, we do see around 1800-2000 per sunday. We are reaching people all across this city.
Fair enough, good for you guys, still don't agree with it, but who cares. The irony from the subject matter of the song and the venue is still pretty funny.
I think you would have to come and visit first hand before you pass judgement. It would also be good for you to see the actual effect of what we do. I respect your opinions although I feel they are based on inaccurate information. Things are open for interpretation, that includes the lyrical material in this song and the way we do things. But we wouldn't do what we do if we didn't see it making a difference.
True Christianity is anti- establishment. The establishment/system at its true core is Luciferian. You will see when the "establishment" starts throwing everybody in FEMA camps and killing Christians and anybody else who will not bow to the Beast.
+Jim Corkern Oh please....religion...especially the god of abraham religions, judasim, christianity and islam (all lower cased on purpose) have caused more pain, division and warring world-wide than any other thing in the last 1500 years.
Jim Corkern And you can go kindly fuck yourself. I'll state my opinion when and where the I want to, regardless of what some pompous internet know-it-all, who feels that only his agenda matters, thinks. Go ahead....believe in some mythical being watching over us. Hey...I've got some magic beans I'll sell you too!
+Jim Corkern Wait...I'm the one using the "crack pipe"? Perhaps it's you using mind-altering substances. You're trying to convey utter nonsense. You sound like someone who's struggling to find an ideology, but instead comes across as some lunatic that no one would ever take seriously. Perhaps that why you're sitting in front of your computer...alone...picking fights over the internet. Sad life it must be for you. Keep blaming the "atheists" for the world's problems. But it is, in fact, the religious zealots running the governments that continually mar the world with their actions committed in the name of their "gods" in the last 15 centuries.....christian crusades, radical islam, the continued jewish occupation of land they took from someone else (because the bible said it was theirs), not to mention the persecution of countless Arabs by the hands of those same Israelis over the decades. And that's just to name a few things. "Religion" as been fighting actual wars, proxy wars and ideological battles at the expense of the rest of humanity for the better part of 2 millennia now. And it continues with vengeance today. Keep wearing your tin-hat, dreaming up conspiracy theories and sticking your head in the sand. Oh...and by the way...next time you see one of those "murder for hire" people...thank him or her for fighting for your freedom to say stupid shit on the internet.
+Jim Corkern Ok....keep on believing that religion is the glue that holds this world together and that atheists are pulling it apart. You say you're for "freedom" yet mistakenly think "god" enhances that supposed freedom. When, in fact, the very basis of organized religion is to de-power the individual....to remove personal freedoms. You want to believe there's some mythical being "up there" that's cynical enough to play games with human lives.....that will let some guy in Florida win $40 million in the lottery because he "prayed for it", yet this same being allows 200 children to starve to death in South Sudan today....umm...ok, have at it. I guess if you're lucky enough to be born in the Western World or the Middle East you'll go to heaven because you've heard about "god". But if you're born in East Nigeria and spend your whole life without once hearing of this "god" you'll die and go to "hell". Really? Religious types are bad enough. But weirdos like you with bizarre ideologies who also think "god" exists...wow that's a scary combination. Thankfully freaks like you always have and always will occupy the outer fringes of reality and society....at best. And on a side note.....you seem to like to throw the term "boy" around a lot. I strongly advise who keep that bad habit confined to the internet. You'll say that to the wrong man one day and find most of your front teeth in the back of your throat.....boy.
vocalist does a pretty good job to my surprise, but if my profile picture doesn't give it away, there's some things that i just don't believe should be touched, one of the biggest being Matt Bellamy's vocals. great message, but the little inner fan girl inside this 20 year old kid is going insane. haha
Cool idea. You may continue to lose some "metal head" subscribers because of some of your videos, however, you just may keep a few, and that's what it's all about. Keep up that Great Commission
Without cursing, I will try to say this politely. Keep your opinions to yourself unless it would be beneficial in some way to the people it is being voiced to. This is not a controversial vid in any way. Is it that troublesome to you that someone attends a church and wants to serve Jesus Christ? If you don't believe in Christianity, oh well, more power to you. But negativity being voiced constantly in the comments does nothing but put people in a bad mood.

No idea why the audience were just sitting. I'd be jumping and screaming haha
Organized religion is the last place to play an anti-establishment song by Muse lol. Stick to Kings of Leon.
