If anyone was wondering, D is an early-3d puzzle/adventure game (basically an FMV-game but with 3d models instead of actors). It's legendarily slow-moving, intentionally. Its main claim to fame is that the director, who was worried it would get censored because of violent scenes, sent a censored version for review, then switched the master disc to the uncensored version and sent that late so they wouldn't have time to check it before they started printing.

completely off topic about puyopuyo puyopuyo, but the D game that he requested is actually a pretty weird ps1 game. it's a horror puzzle game that's very atmospheric, gameplay reminds me of myst (another puzzle game) with a confusing storyline and it's made in 1995 but with a 3D effect. saw this game a long time ago being played by a streamer group I used to follow back in the day and it's never left my memory so when selen brought this up I was starstruck lmao
