I think the domain expansion has more to do about the soul than anything, which probably relates to Kenjaku. We know that Kenjaku's CT is so advanced that it's capable of fooling the 6E down to the soul level, so what if the 6E didn't detect any innate CT coming from Yuji precisely because he inherited a different CT that somewhat closely resembles the nature of how Kenjaku's CT works? And that makes me to believe that whatever the sure-hit of this domain is, it's most likely linked to Yuji's true innate technique but more so an extension from that just like how Infinite void's effect isn't necessarily bound to the effects of the natural Limitless technique.

This would also be cool to give yuji another example of matching sukuna in his own way. The biggest example of this is how yujis soul dismantles give him a skill that's arguably as strong as the world cutting slash since they are both projectile slashes that ignore durability. If this barrier only deals with the soul it could be his version of the open domain as it wouldn't need a shell while still being virtually inescapable

something i noticed in the page where yuji does his domain is his eyes. i could be wrong but i think that his eyes being drawn in this way hasnt happend all sukuna fight. when he awakened his eyes resembled sukuna (the pupil within his pupil almost evil looking) but during his domain and in the train station with sukuna his eyes are full and clear for the first time all fight. maybe signaling some sort of enlightenment hes reached? idk but i thought it was a cool ass detail
My understanding from the leaks is that yuji opened his domain right after gojo mentioned that any technique in the barrier will hit. Right before that Sukuna talks about yuji’s soul punches doing damage but that it doesn’t matter if they don’t hit. Do you think he can imbue the soul punch effect into his barrier?
@@meta4240 but it is part of his innate domain. Think about it, Yuji does not really have his own CT revealed yet. The dismantle, if we take the narrative consistency so far, is from Yuji being imbued with Sukuna's CT/CE. Yuji was created by Kenny as the perfect vessel for souls and able to cage Sukuna's soul. So him awakening and that being followed by being able to now more directly and with precise control at attacking the soul barrier means that Yuji's true and personal CT is related to the soul. A domain expansion is just the expansion of one's innate domain. Domain expansion is just giving a physical manifestation for that innate domain. My guess is that Yuji can capture the soul of his target instead of taking them inside a created physical barrier or an open area like Sukuna, he can willingly cage the other soul inside his body. He is a vessel. That would also explain why Sukuna looks like he was in Yuji's body because his soul was actually inside Yuji's body. That or that scene was the moment that Yuji eventually tells Sukuna "You are strong Sukuna, but please stand aside I'm the new King of Curses now" or "This is the train that will take you south, you may be strong but I am the conductor now".

I think Sukuna not looking like his heian era form but instead like a normal human is a big deal because it implies that Yuji's domain is weird, likely being an equalizer domain that is relating to 1v1s. Which could also explain why Yuji has not used it in this fight at all, if the condition to activate it hinges around only two beings in the domain for it even work, it also would make sense that the domain has this condition as Yuji hasn't had a cursed technique that long, if we were comparing his domain skill to megumi's domain skills (Megumi does struggle with completing his domain because he lacks the mentality to be a monster sorcerer imo), thus Yuji's domain is likely either incomplete or is only complete with a binding vow of a 1v1 only + maybe more binding vows.
He is probably gonna survive it. What I am predicting is it damages him badly, the domain breaks because it's yujis first time. sukuna has to do somthing with an binding vow to start the merger and yuji has to adapt his domain expansion mid combat to win when recasts it.
Maybe the last scene of two is not inside Yuji's domain but a place like the airport for them after both Yuji and Sukuna have died. If it was Ueno station they are going to north since a lot of train lines are heading to northern Japan from Ueno (opposite to Ueno is Shinagawa, which connects to east/south part of Japan and in the middle of those two stations there is Tokyo station). For Yuji northeast Japan is his birthplace too. Ueno is the starting point for new comer from northeastern prefectures. And Gege himself is from northeast Japan (Iwate prefecture). Sukuna and Yuji is technically relatives, so maybe they could be friends or something?
When you think about it, yuji's domain expansion is a reverse of sukuna's in terms of concept and ideals so yuji's domain being the benevolent version of sukuna's malevolent shrine makes sense Yuji's hand sign is ksitigarbha's mudra. He is the bodhisattva who guides people to elightment before he does. Another fun fact: Ksitigarbha didnt want to attain the chance to become buddha until all "hell" was purified. It matches with yuji's selfless and kind character because in this case, sukuna is "hell" on earth. In theory, yuji wants sukuna to acknowledge him and his ideals and concepts. Sukuna acknowledging him is the sure hit because maybe gege wants to tell us that yuji is the sukuna of the modern era who is molded by virtues and in now way similar to sukuna of the heian era who was molded by "The strong consumes the weak" ideals.
This chapter cements that Sukuna is a looney toons character. He's like The Mask from the Jim Carrey movie, plays by completely different rules. Like what is the charge time on Jacobs ladder that he can propel debris in the air, climb that debris, black flash Hana/Todo, fight Yuji and then get thrown out of it? Does he have a binding vow to slow time when he clenches his ass or what?

I think Yuji’s domain will be important to stopping the merger. Maybe his domain separates a soul from its body or vessel , but I don’t know if he’d have enough power to separate Tengen from Japan.
I think Yuji's domain, at least the sure hit part that was emphasized, is specifically about hitting (or in this case capturing) the soul. We've seen that sukuna in his innate domain looked like Yuji (think you've even made a video about this, back on the sukuna yuji twins theory, @ManganimistYT), and Yuji has been dead focused on hitting his soul throughout the fight, so it would make sense and explain how we're getting "normal" sukuna here. It's his soul that got pulled into the domain, not the body he was inhabiting with megumi, and would also explain why Sukuna was shocked at what was happening: he simply never saw anything like this before. Of course, this leaves the question of "what the hell happens to megumi in a domain like this", and honestly, I don't know. Logic tells us he'd also be in the domain in his normal body, so this would be a possible time to wake his ass up and get a 2v1 on sukuna. Hell, if the domain was big enough, maybe even yuta-gojo?? 👀 All in all a crazy cool concept for a domain, and I wonder where gege is going to take it from here

If you look at these specific conflicts that Yuji had with others you'll notice a pattern: 1. They have conflict with Yuji. 2. Yuji has some compassion for them. 3. They ask him a question and Yuji answers them 4. A memory is planted into their brains 5. They no longer want to fight Yuji but rather help him. It happened with Junpei, Todo, and Choso. Junpei was a quick scene of him as a jujutsu sorcerer alongside all the other first years. We were lead to believe it was a glance of a possible future but what if it was an implanted memory? Todo had asked for his type of woman was and a whole backstory filled his mind with Yuji being his best friend. Choso asked about his siblings, and Yuji answered with genuine remorse of not being able to spare them. When it came to finishing him off he saw a memory of Yuji as his youngest brother. (This was confirmed to be factual so idk) But with this latest chapter we are seeing something similar happening with Sukuna. Yuji opened his Domain Expansion and instead of seeing something similar to what we've seen before like a guaranteed hit domain, or a domain with rules, or even a domain that bends time, we instead get a scene of both Yuji and Sukuna just chilling at a train station.

And that makes me to believe that whatever the sure-hit of this domain is, it's most likely linked to Yuji's true innate technique but more so an extension from that just like how Infinite void's effect isn't necessarily bound to the effects of the natural Limitless technique.

Given how much yuji's skill set has dealt with the soul i feel like itd be amazing if the yuji managed to open a domain with barrier that only traps the soul instead of the physical body
This would also be cool to give yuji another example of matching sukuna in his own way. The biggest example of this is how yujis soul dismantles give him a skill that's arguably as strong as the world cutting slash since they are both projectile slashes that ignore durability. If this barrier only deals with the soul it could be his version of the open domain as it wouldn't need a shell while still being virtually inescapable

Theory : Yuji's domain might be that it actually turns evil people into good, and the more they refuse, the more they get hit by both cleave and dismantles. This might be fitting becuase Yuji's true nature is not killing others, but if a person is so evil that they don't even wanna turn good "just because", Yuji will strike, kind of like how Mahito was evil because "just because" And Yuji had no other thing but to fight him to the point where Mahito became a crying baby

something i noticed in the page where yuji does his domain is his eyes. i could be wrong but i think that his eyes being drawn in this way hasnt happend all sukuna fight. when he awakened his eyes resembled sukuna (the pupil within his pupil almost evil looking) but during his domain and in the train station with sukuna his eyes are full and clear for the first time all fight. maybe signaling some sort of enlightenment hes reached? idk but i thought it was a cool ass detail

My understanding from the leaks is that yuji opened his domain right after gojo mentioned that any technique in the barrier will hit. Right before that Sukuna talks about yuji’s soul punches doing damage but that it doesn’t matter if they don’t hit. Do you think he can imbue the soul punch effect into his barrier?
The soul punches aren't a cursed technique, but rather a different target for his normal attacks, meaning it can't be infused into a domain
He will most likely imbue shrine into his domain to make his soul dismantles sure hit, if the domain functions as normal

The dismantle, if we take the narrative consistency so far, is from Yuji being imbued with Sukuna's CT/CE. Yuji was created by Kenny as the perfect vessel for souls and able to cage Sukuna's soul. So him awakening and that being followed by being able to now more directly and with precise control at attacking the soul barrier means that Yuji's true and personal CT is related to the soul. A domain expansion is just the expansion of one's innate domain. Domain expansion is just giving a physical manifestation for that innate domain. My guess is that Yuji can capture the soul of his target instead of taking them inside a created physical barrier or an open area like Sukuna, he can willingly cage the other soul inside his body. He is a vessel. That would also explain why Sukuna looks like he was in Yuji's body because his soul was actually inside Yuji's body. That or that scene was the moment that Yuji eventually tells Sukuna "You are strong Sukuna, but please stand aside I'm the new King of Curses now" or "This is the train that will take you south, you may be strong but I am the conductor now".

I think Sukuna not looking like his heian era form but instead like a normal human is a big deal because it implies that Yuji's domain is weird, likely being an equalizer domain that is relating to 1v1s.
Which could also explain why Yuji has not used it in this fight at all, if the condition to activate it hinges around only two beings in the domain for it even work, it also would make sense that the domain has this condition as Yuji hasn't had a cursed technique that long, if we were comparing his domain skill to megumi's domain skills (Megumi does struggle with completing his domain because he lacks the mentality to be a monster sorcerer imo), thus Yuji's domain is likely either incomplete or is only complete with a binding vow of a 1v1 only + maybe more binding vows.

Maybe the last scene of two is not inside Yuji's domain but a place like the airport for them after both Yuji and Sukuna have died. If it was Ueno station they are going to north since a lot of train lines are heading to northern Japan from Ueno (opposite to Ueno is Shinagawa, which connects to east/south part of Japan and in the middle of those two stations there is Tokyo station). For Yuji northeast Japan is his birthplace too. Ueno is the starting point for new comer from northeastern prefectures. And Gege himself is from northeast Japan (Iwate prefecture). Sukuna and Yuji is technically relatives, so maybe they could be friends or something?

When you think about it, yuji's domain expansion is a reverse of sukuna's in terms of concept and ideals so yuji's domain being the benevolent version of sukuna's malevolent shrine makes sense
Yuji's hand sign is ksitigarbha's mudra. He is the bodhisattva who guides people to elightment before he does. Another fun fact: Ksitigarbha didnt want to attain the chance to become buddha until all "hell" was purified. It matches with yuji's selfless and kind character because in this case, sukuna is "hell" on earth.
In theory, yuji wants sukuna to acknowledge him and his ideals and concepts. Sukuna acknowledging him is the sure hit because maybe gege wants to tell us that yuji is the sukuna of the modern era who is molded by virtues and in now way similar to sukuna of the heian era who was molded by "The strong consumes the weak" ideals.

I think Yuji’s domain will be important to stopping the merger. Maybe his domain separates a soul from its body or vessel , but I don’t know if he’d have enough power to separate Tengen from Japan.
I think Yuji's domain, at least the sure hit part that was emphasized, is specifically about hitting (or in this case capturing) the soul. We've seen that sukuna in his innate domain looked like Yuji (think you've even made a video about this, back on the sukuna yuji twins theory, @ManganimistYT), and Yuji has been dead focused on hitting his soul throughout the fight, so it would make sense and explain how we're getting "normal" sukuna here. It's his soul that got pulled into the domain, not the body he was inhabiting with megumi, and would also explain why Sukuna was shocked at what was happening: he simply never saw anything like this before.
Of course, this leaves the question of "what the hell happens to megumi in a domain like this", and honestly, I don't know. Logic tells us he'd also be in the domain in his normal body, so this would be a possible time to wake his ass up and get a 2v1 on sukuna. Hell, if the domain was big enough, maybe even yuta-gojo?? 👀
All in all a crazy cool concept for a domain, and I wonder where gege is going to take it from here

i think the sure effect of yuji's domain is how he was slashing sukuna's soul with his punches but without having to touch the target like mahito's domain.

Yuji's hand sign looks to be the pinky, ring, and middle fingers interlocked (I see three knuckles on the left hand before the outstretched finger), the index pointing out, and we can't tell what the thumbs are doing. Based on my uneducated guess (and the Wikipedia article on Kuji-in), this appears to be the Rin hand sign, associated with the dokko-in/kongoshin-in mudra "seal of the thunderbolt"
According to the article, this mudra is either associated with Bishamonten, one of the Four Heavenly Kings and the god of warfare, or Taishakuten, the Buddhist counterpart to the Hindu god Indra, and of the Twelve Guardian Deities (Gojo's hand seal, often attributed to Taishakuten, however, does look quite different from what Yuji is doing)
My guess is that it is meant to follow Bishamonten as Bishamonten is meant to be the guardian of the north, while Enmaten (Buddhist counterpart to the Hindu god Yama, whose hand seal Sukuna used to perform for Malevolent Shrine) is the guardian of the south, indicating both the diametrical opposition of Yuji and Sukuna, as well as Yuji potentially also "going north" and transcending his initial limits

1. They have conflict with Yuji.
2. Yuji has some compassion for them.
3. They ask him a question and Yuji answers them
4. A memory is planted into their brains
5. They no longer want to fight Yuji but rather help him.
It happened with Junpei, Todo, and Choso.
Junpei was a quick scene of him as a jujutsu sorcerer alongside all the other first years. We were lead to believe it was a glance of a possible future but what if it was an implanted memory?
Todo had asked for his type of woman was and a whole backstory filled his mind with Yuji being his best friend.
Choso asked about his siblings, and Yuji answered with genuine remorse of not being able to spare them. When it came to finishing him off he saw a memory of Yuji as his youngest brother. (This was confirmed to be factual so idk)
But with this latest chapter we are seeing something similar happening with Sukuna. Yuji opened his Domain Expansion and instead of seeing something similar to what we've seen before like a guaranteed hit domain, or a domain with rules, or even a domain that bends time, we instead get a scene of both Yuji and Sukuna just chilling at a train station.
