Yeah had me sweating for about 4 minutes lol I've already bought it and luckily have the gamestop receipt but yeah I am personally the 1st kind of person! I've never streamed a day in my life and my new years resolution is to try it so though it may not be the best quality, it's at least affordable for starting out! I am adulting more often than not and would just like to give streaming a go here and there for fun! Thanks for the review! Best one Ive found! I'm going to give it a go! :-)

Yup that’s why I bought it. I tried streaming from my laptop but it couldn’t keep up so I got this to help me out. I was wondering why it looked so bad with the quality. I even tried to use my light ring to see if that helps but i made me disappear and shine super bright 😂. Seeing as the video is 3 years old and there is no new camera out we are still stuck with it 😢. My 30 Amazon camera looks way better that this.

They need a 2.0 But Its not bad for vr game streamers since you can use it at a distance and move around. I just started using my psvr 1 camera w/ the adapter and a green screen when streaming VR games. VR games arent the best at conveying the experience through a flat screen but it helps if viewers can see your physical movements acted out.
I also copped it 2 weeks ago and started streaming! I'll sub for sure! So far...I am constantly coming to the conclusion that I want to get a high end PC and stream with better quality. BUT THAT EASE IF USE ON PS5 THOOOO!
If it’s anything like the ps4 camera moving further back and then hit refocus to find your face makes a huge difference. It’s strange that I’m all the videos talking about this camera this isn’t done.
I guess this is why people who want to be content creators get a PC! Not to mention the gaming chair with the nice lighting and a nice background with led lights everywhere and anime pop figures! It seems to be the common theme for all UA-cam and twitch streamers to all have the same set up and backgrounds ! Show me someone who have a basic room lol without all the colorful led lights and stuff mounted on walls .

Unfortunately you can only use PlayStation Cameras on PS5. Adding more light helps make all cameras better. Consider purchasing a stream light to illuminate yourself. Thanks for watching!
@@Wild4 Correct provided the camera has the ability to adjust exposure manually. I doubt this thing would improve even with added lights. It needs a firmware update to iron out its auto adjust settings. Doubt Sony cares enough.

I’ve had the camera for about six months , and no matter how hard I try it will not let me stream on UA-cam , it keeps saying I’m linked but will not go to UA-cam , it will go to Twitch but not UA-cam , no matter what I do it will not steam to UA-cam. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
The camera yes could be better. The reason why you were clipping in your highlights is your lighting is very unbalanced in your room. The video you recorded not on your PS5 even shows this. That is what is creating that shiny look on your forehead. I would suggest using some dimmable lights and a diffuser to flatten the lighting out and not have such a dramatically contrasting background behind you. That's why the image cleaned up when you moved further away from the PS5 Camera. The intensity of the lights was diminished by your distance from the camera.
PS4 Camera outweighs the ps5 camera.I use my PS4 pro VR camera on my PS5 with an adaptor and it looks good!. Bit darker tones but setting can change that.
@@Wild4 Would be worth doing a video for it as i cant find one on youtube. I just brought the ps4-ps5 camera adaptor. The PS4 camera is a bit darker quality on the PS5 but you if you toggle the settings about it does look slightly better than the PS5 camera. I prefer it because the colours stand out better in the background. But everyone has there own preferred way i suppose. Thanks for the reply 👍
Don’t listen to this review. I purchased the Sony camera yesterday and for the price it’s actually fantastic. Easy to use. Plug and play with a good clear image. I have the whole PC webcam set up myself and I almost always end up using the Ps5...
I can care less for the camera I won't ever use it! I just want to know if I can use it as a mic ? Like the ps4 camera I don't like wearing a headset but I noticed no one is asking that so I'm assuming it doesn't have one which is WACK!
That PS5 camera is crap, the 1080 HD,and only two lenses like the PS4 camera. As if it is from 2013, it should have at least 4 lenses, 4K image, and much better voice commands, so it's not worth taking at all. but I don't know if there is a possibility to put another camera, which is not the Sony PlayStation 5. As it has the Xbox S and X you can connect almost any 4K camera.
Mine comes out horrible!!! Will be returning mine I think. Skin is extremely red and blown out white where there is light. I will try backing it up. Horrible camera they should be ashamed for even releasing this. People will use this for streaming. No mounting horrible horrible
The camera sucks, no browser app, can't hear the chat on the TV, no more cool moving wallpapers. Every year they take away more and charge more. Online was free. PS3 could download mp3, mp4, and pictures and upload music. Not worth the money.

This camera does not do vr. On the sony website you have to ask for an adapter to use old camera

No Gooseneck you would have to make a make-shift clamp for it. No social media pop ups just yet without a capture card
Does the quality get any beter of you use some extra lichting? Like a ringlight ?
It's already blown out an additional light would exacerbate that even more.

Usually better lighting brings the most of any camera.
