Very good instruction.
I met a group of very nice elderly people who started an art group. They monthly show their art in their community center. Learning that I sketch, they asked me questions about painting which I can't answer. The most asked question is what kind of paints and brushes they should use. They are all using various brands of acrylic paints.
It would be very generous of you if you'd list your most useful equipment and I'll find a way to get the information to them. I don't know if they have computers, but if they do, I'll suggest they watch your videos.

Thank you. It is so generous for you to reply. I had attempted to tell them as much. They felt it was too expensive to keep buying brushes especially until they happened on a good one. They were so sweet inviting me to their next little showing I just felt like trying to help them, even if can only with information. It will be good for them to view your videos.

Thank you for your response. I think the problem is I put my name on the live screen and not on the comment screen. I think you are getting your names from the comment screen. Does this sound about right? Maybe that is the same problem all others are experiencing?

I have learned alot watching your tutorials and want to thank you.My comment with regards to this particular painting .. I might be misunderstood but here goes... I dont know if a glich is the reason why during the wave part suddenly the video skips. This has happened on a couple other tutorials with different artists and I must say it is very upsetting because a portion missing means my painting if I'm following along becomes incomplete or not quite up to scratch. I dont understand why anyone would purposely do this to trip up a potential student so I have to assume that this type of "glich" occurs as an error.. It's almost like when aunt suzie leaves out one ingrediant to the recipe making what your doing good but never as good as the original creator.. upsetting indeed. This is the only painting that I can honestly say looks incomplete regarding the wave. I'm really struggling with waves and hoped this tutorial would be the one that would help me out. I will keep trying though Thanks.
i had a look at the wave section and i could not find any major skips there are part were i am doing a part then finish it in the next section but i do make sure i give my viewers as much they need to know to pull off what i am showing them cause i do know what you mean when i was learning years ago you will see a painting being done and all of a sudden quite a bit has been done off film, hang in there cobber i do listen to my subs and take it on board for bettering my videos as you/they are the one i have to please, cheers Ian.

It May seem a silly question to you or others but is your flowing white like a white gesso or is that completely different ?
different, i use the white(flowing) paint with retarder to have my canvas wet white and ready to blend my blue's and clouds, gesso is something you prime a raw canvas with let it dry then you can paint on it.

I also put my name in several times during your live program telling us of the drawing. Second time I have not had my name put on your drawing list and both times it was done during the live program telling us of the drawing... I did include my state and country. It appears you only accept entries AFTER your live for the next 9 hours, correct?
Live can be a funny or weird thing at times, i print out all the comments, i put a number next to the comments with there state and country as it appears on my end here, there are people i am finding who do what you do but unfortunately not all get through i can not control that, sorry, just need to keep trying if you like .
After the live feed has gone so do their comments so you would have to repeat them after when it's accessible but you would have to make that clear. Does that help I know this by watching another favourite artist
