When the time to leave comes, the only things we will take with us from this world will be the lessons learned and the moments enjoyed.
I was confined in my room avoiding life for 30 years.
    Now I enjoy everything.
People walking through the streets, the clouds, the sun, the wind, the cultural and recreational activities of the community.
The sound of birds singing, dogs barking, people talking around me when I go to the supermarket.
and I realize that all this
    beautiful things were always here.
But I didn't see them as beautiful in the past because I was full of resentment, fear and guilt.
Now I started to love and respect myself.
And I learned to love and respect others.
Love them as they are without judging them, without comparing them, without trying to change them.
Because each human being has its beautiful light and uniqueness.
A rainbow is beautiful because of all the different colors that make it up.
Thanks for sharing this amazing piece of advice.
    We love you Jim.

Spoken from the heart, but this is from a time when there was no internet, and live events were few and far between.
Today this only results in FOMO, and subsequently anxiety.
Today it is of utmost importance to be able to choose and filter out.

Hes still kicking round in his 70s running three car washes and going to brekafast every morning with his freinds at mcdonalds and at all the family functions being the loudest happiest man there. Alsways spening time teaching his kids and grandkids new things everytime yhey are around. Hoping i can fill those big ass shoes one day.

I visited my grandparents on a Sunday after church even though I had monstrous morning sickness. My grandpa held my 2 year old son up so that he could reach some windchimes. He died a couple days later, but that memory lives on in me as I'm the only adult still living and my son was too young. God is great! ❤

I hustled hard for 3 years, stopped going to holiday invites from families and etc. I lost a friend I had for 5 years because I stopped going out to drink with her. Then, my aunt who raised me like her own daughter passed away the year I was set to graduate and promote at work. I wanted to surprise her but now, it’s too late. She lived only a 30 minute drive at the time and I really regret how much I took it for granted. I see my family at least once a month and I do my best to be fully immersed, not being on my phone etc. I can’t take them for granted too.

Shyt wish i had parents they bounced on me and my brother left us with grandma.. Only time i seen em was at like family partys here and there i tried to go and talk to em but it was always just awkward small talk and silence until one of us just walked away with an excuse like "i gotta go to the backroom" or "let me go get my phone" "did somebody call me" until i just let it go and stopped trying to have a relationship with em

    Stop focusing on the news
Stop caring about the status quo
    Stop rushing through life
    Stop routinely repeating bad habits
We’re all so focused looking onward for fulfillment, but God and the beauty of His creation has resided within us the whole time.
Stop your mind from jumping to conclusions
Stop allowing your mind to dictate way of being
Stop pretending like anyone has any idea of what they’re doing and take steps forward towards your dreams today. I should warn you if you’re still reading that your dreams and love and fulfillment are from God. Humble yourself, reach out in earnest, and be rewarded accordingly. Amen 🙏🏼
You can mock me but please do not mock God.
