Trying to experience everything makes me exhausted. There are some situations that leave me drained and which I regret getting involved in. I try to experience and force myself to do as many things as possible but if i really cannot convince myself to do something , i follow my gut and I do not do it. This really hit me man .. my best friend passed away September 29 9:00pm . He was murder . Week prior to that day was his first sons baby shower and I didn’t show up. Told him I would go to his house the next day to drop the stuff I got Amir and still didn’t go .. now I can’t even tell him sorry or I love him.. the pain of regret I have is something unbearable..
You will apologise when you see him again and he will laugh and forgive you and tell you he has been wishing you wouldn't trip so hard about it! Just learn the lesson and he is happy to have been the one to teach it to you.

I visited my grandparents on a Sunday after church even though I had monstrous morning sickness. My grandpa held my 2 year old son up so that he could reach some windchimes. He died a couple days later, but that memory lives on in me as I'm the only adult still living and my son was too young. God is great! ❤
I hustled hard for 3 years, stopped going to holiday invites from families and etc. I lost a friend I had for 5 years because I stopped going out to drink with her. Then, my aunt who raised me like her own daughter passed away the year I was set to graduate and promote at work. I wanted to surprise her but now, it’s too late. She lived only a 30 minute drive at the time and I really regret how much I took it for granted. I see my family at least once a month and I do my best to be fully immersed, not being on my phone etc. I can’t take them for granted too.

Only time i seen em was at like family partys here and there i tried to go and talk to em but it was always just awkward small talk and silence until one of us just walked away with an excuse like "i gotta go to the backroom" or "let me go get my phone" "did somebody call me" until i just let it go and stopped trying to have a relationship with em
