I went to your website, and the "join" tab is missing. I've started flying drones when DJI made the Octo version in 2012 available. Sadly, I abandoned droning due to Transport Canada rules and regulations on getting a license difficult at the time. I'm now getting back into droning thanks to your excellent sharing of knowledge and expertise. Joining your DPAC is the best way to stay informed, knowledge, and enjoy safe flying of my new and old drones. 😊👍🇨🇦

Yes, there are many overly restrictive bylaws.

@@DonJoyce Don. If you're able to combine polygons representing municipalities with types / classes / or groupings of bylaws you'll be able to do a whole host of visualizations on bylaws and overall progressiveness to drones. There's quite a lot of possibilities beyond just information in the app for flying reference so long as you're strict about your association of the data with the municipality. Great(!) idea to catalogue them all. If you're not already doing it, do remember to include the option for a link to the bylaw itself. Many munis make every single bylaw available online so you'll be able to go right to the source, down to the para.

@@cpattullo1 We have the kml definitions for each municipality. Tapping inside will offer a one-liner summary of the bylaw and a link to the full bylaw.

I get much doubt that Canada will follow the US path to ban DJI drones.
