    it's a failure in Kerr's system that he prioritized good shot over good offense. Getting shots for Steph Curry is good offense but getting everyone open shot is just a good shot , and role players struggle in big moments. If you look at the numbers, Barnes had 71 FGAs but Curry only had 124 (Klay at 110) and the offense just did not adjust when Barnes shot 20% in last three games.

Positive for his teammates and negative for his competition. He fires up his team and gets under the skin off the oposition. He sets great picks,he rolls hard to the basket,he makes great passes,he runs the floor,he rebounds like crazy,he always hustles the hardest on the court and he defends on the highest possible level. Never a great shooter but he's made a lot off important shots when it matterd. Crazy ? Yes. But is he worth it ? Hell yes.

    It's funny that Dray calls himself "humble" LOL, but his introspection of that game and the previous events of Game 5 leading into Game 7 are interesting to hear. And you've got to give him credit for the overall response. Especially how he knows he let down his teammates. Who truly knows what would have happened if he's not suspended. I think they would have won the series, but maybe THAT historic season ending THAT historic run with a chip/ would have put all of their heads in the clouds and would have stopped their development as a true championship squad. Maybe egos would have got the best of them? All things considered, it's all worked out in the end for all of them though, right? And the chip' they won in 22' was IMO an all-time flex that this core always had it, even when the haters said they were trash without KD (obviously not true). Love listening to these NBA vets talk shop though. Really fun as a fan to see what goes through their minds.

    3 things happened for cavs to win, 1 green suspension. 2 bogut injury. 3 Andre back issues which led to layup instead of dunking. Any one of those things removed warriors win.

    • @cheerioss-9121
      @cheerioss-9121 Рік тому

      You can add 3 more things.
      Steph has to play some of the worse basketball he’s played in his prime.
      Barnes had to forget how to make a fucking corner 3 or really anything productive (we seen this come to fruition on an open game winner he bricked)
      Klay was a no show too.
      Honestly the warriors core stars played terrible. It was Draymond and role players vs LeBron and Kyrie playing the best basketball they’ve ever played. and people genuinely think if they ran it back and just replaced barnes with a different max contract guy they wouldn’t have dogged the cavs the following year.

He had 0 votes in 2015 and even Lebon had 4 out of 10 votes even though his team lost cuz Steph wasn’t convincingly the best player or most valuable player on that finals due to him being down 2-1 untill iggy started and played both sides. Stephs lack of defense and clutch gene played in his lack of FMVPS. I get it he is a likable dude but any other superstar would’ve been judged differently if they came up shot in the finals like him:

    I’m a draymond fan as a Cavs fan but the reality of it was when Bogut went out that changed everything. They had to try to start Festus and he was getting exposed. The small ball was deadly but it needed them Bogut minutes. Draymond took Love out of the picture. So now with Bogut out nobody was there to set tone to start the game in the paint for them. Which meant Bron and Kyrie was going to rack at will. If Bogut out game 5 it’s same results in my opinion.
