From what I remember to get out of Plat (I'm gc rn). Was to just play faster. Save my flips and position better.

The past 6 days getting back into the game I’ve look at coaches after coaches asking champs and Gcs for tips now that be broken into plat 3 in ones and plat 2 in duos

I am having a more bizzare issue, which is every time I go to challenge even if I contact the ball somehow it deflects off the enemy and carries on being on my side, while I am stuck on there side, and the same issue also happens when deflecting or pushing where I can't seem to stop the ball bouncing back to my side either by deflecting off me, the wall or the opponent. I am also not sure how to improve to fix this issue.
Secondly am I the only one for whom the touch joystick messes up and sometimes make me go the wrong directions?

i only got plat 5 last season on 2s because of teamates and now that im with the diamond and some champs lobbies on 2s the gameplay is so much better haha

I was champ in season 1 didn’t play for some time and now I’m struggling to get out of plat.
Mogz uhh so what do i do if im playing 2s and my teammate literally wont let me touch the ball like they just keep going after it over and over and over even if im mid air dribble and they just kinda steal it and miss
frustrating aye
you really just have to watch them closely.. every time you're mid-air dribble and they start coming for it, just either abandon your play n flip back down.. or gold/purple shot the ball away. Either way - let them have it, and u go back n defend.

Honestly I can't believe I just clutched plat before the season ended but Now realised that I'll be suffering to rank up both on singles and doubles and especially in Hoops with all of those random matchmaking pair ups.... Oh well Nothing I can do except get gud.
Most simple but underrated tip is also never use your flip for 50s but instead pancake. Because then you will get boost back and a flip to continue the play upfield. While the opponent usually throws themselves at the ball while boosting giving you possession.
I would say what ended up getting me out of plat was being more consistent with my shots as well as going for 50s and trying to get the ball around my opponent which led to the net being open. As long as I got the ball around the opponent the goals would follow after. I also stopped shooting the ball from crazy distances (ex: starting Ariel from my side then using my flip at half way up the field making for an easy block and counter for my opponent) which wasted all my boost and my flip which resulted in me hard committing and having to struggle to defend to play.
100% agree re 50s. thats why i recommended ppl go watch my 5 mistakes vid after this one- almost entirely cos of the section abt 50s.
4:35 yeah this strat is very useful just fake and they give u the ball.
Put constant pressure on a plat and he will make mistake and win

i recently played with a champ just the sheer seing he is a champ and is stall chains i got scared and started making small mistakles in that match and obv lost

I’ve been at diamond for 3 seasons and can do every mechanic consistently (besides manual flicks) but i very much need to improve my game sense. You have any tips for that?
Stop trying to flex ur mechanics and just play smart, i struggled with this for s while myself
When you said to challenge the ball in the middle and not in your goal, what if they get pass you and you need to rush all the way back to your goal and end up letting them score a goal on you?
yep it will happen sometimes. but its ultimately a much better strategy than sitting in goal. Plus you will learn when to challenge & how to judge your opponents plays etc n eventually reduce how often they beat you
i see now tysm mogz also i just hit plat with 2 wins in doubles, any tips? I always overcommit and dont know how to stop this habit and i also suck at offense bc my mechanics are just the most normal ones.

the only difference between the cars is the hitbox.
but mostly that doesnt really matter much.

I actually got out of plat by buying bew phone. I was having 30 fps average and the best i got was plat 5 div 5 but then dropped to plat 3. But on new phone i went straight into diamond and was just 1 game from being champ but got unlucky and finished season by being diamond(
