The native was trying to practice his English with you and that´s why he was grabbing at every topic possible. Even more than your money, your willingness to share your language is most appreciated. If you were willing to accept Spanish as modern Latin, I could teach it to you and share it with you very quickly. My hears won´t let me practice Spanish with anyone who uses their own accent!

Thanks Keith! Coconut water is an expensive luxury here in the UK (like £4 for a 1 litre carton which isn't even fresh) so I always have it when I'm in a tropical country! A lot of people have said it's similar to Philippines, I have to go there at some point!

Thanks mate! I lived in Spain for a couple of years, a long time ago now though! For me I don't think I would've been able to learn it without immersing myself in it so I think if you wanted to learn it your best bet is to go to a country that speaks that language and study hard!

Definitely not getting murder vibes from this City! Aside from the woman swatting flies around her stall. That guy is English? Ok! Ah i miss all the fake stalls, haven’t been anywhere like that in ages! City Hall, Theatre and Cathedral were stunning, worth a visit just to see them. Nice looking hot dog, 25 cents, wow. The Candy Man was a character, at one point I thought you were going to do a duet with him! Wow, great price on the fresh Mango, everything comes with Chilly! This Coconut water hunt is a real adventure! Yay the last one! In a bag? 👍

When I saw that cathedral I thought the same thing. It looked like something from Europe. I totally wasn’t expecting to see that there. Also, it looked so safe walking around. It wasn’t too long ago that El Salvador was one of the most dangerous countries. My brother-in-law left El Salvador when he was a little boy to América with his parents for a better life. He was young but remembers explosions from the war. Now he married my sister and they have two little children. 👍

Looks a bustling place around the market area. A place it sounds like you can buy anything even if some of it is copies. The "hot dog" looked great and you can't grumble at the price. Spiced mangos? That's a new one on me. The place seemed friendly enough to me 🙂
Cheers Paul, when I was eating the hot dog thing for equivalent of 20p it made me remember a side dish of peas I had not long ago in England that worked out to be 15p per pea. So that's almost as much for one pea as it was for a small hot dog 😆
