Albert Hammond.............It Never Rains In California,.............Give Me One Moment In Time..........and Gimmee Dat Ding! What an incredible talent! ! !
Alberto is one of the greatest composer of this Planet. The most of his composings are Interpreted by other performers. Its never Rainer in California, I'am a train, the free electric Band and some other Songs, which Werke presented by A.H. are only a small Sektor of his lifework. I (*1960) like Albert with greetings from Kassel in central Germany.
Bill Cenne I thought Whitney Houston wrote the song One Moment in Time and popularized it.OMG Albert was really a fantastic Song writer.Same thing with the Song To All the Girls I loved Before. I thought it was written by Willie Nelson and popularized by Willie Nelson & Julio Iglesias. It’s amazing.
I just saw these credits in another UA-cam post of the song. It looks like he co-wrote the song, but didn't sing the original famous version by the Pipkins. Producer: John Burgess Keyboards: Roger Greenaway Vocals: Tony Burrows Composer: Albert Hammond Composer: Albert Hammond Jr Writer: Albert Louis Hammond Writer: Michael Edward Hazlewood Composer: Mike Hazlewood
According to Wikipedia it was written as part of something called "Oliver in the Overworld" for a British children's TV show. The Pipkins (Roger Greenaway and Tony Burrows) did it later and had a huge hit with it.
My first favorite song at age 9.
Kids to adults. Legends are legends for a reason.

Hard to believe that the same person could write "Gimme Dat Ding" and "The Air That I Breathe." Just amazing.
I was just gonni comment on the same two songs. My sentiments exactly
I sing this at school we sing it all together! 😇
Gimme Gimme Dat...thing 🙃😯😊😄🤣❤

I like it at 1.15 speed.

hard to believe this is the same guy who wrote and sings a great song "One Moment IN Time".

@Bill Cenne He CO-wrote this song and One Moment in Time with other experienced successful songwriters.
I never saw the guy that did one of my favorite songs until NOW. He doesn't look the way I imagined him. What a voice. He should do cartoons.

Pretty impressive he could do the falsetto and baritone and switch back and forth during the same song
I think it’s partly Paul McCartney’s composition from the song Rocky Raccoon.
Genial👌
Too cool! Fun cover. :)
Well, he did actually write the song...
@@jkwak1976 Thanks. I didn't know that. That's cool.
This song is so Cathy. Reminds me of an American speakeasy in the 1920's and flapper gals.
This is a little bit crazy :-) Albert darf das. :-))
Sounds better than when it was new
