Gabe Renz is a self-taught glass blower out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Building his own glass blowing studio from scratch in his garage, Gabe has continually been pushing out new pieces almost every day. He posts pictures of his art to his Instagram (@renz_craft), where someone will most likely fall in love with the piece and purchase it.
In this video, you will see the process that Gabe goes through when making an intricate piece such as a water pipe beaker with the many different components, giving it the look and style Gabe is fond of. Gabe tells us how he got started in the world of glass blowing and what some of the biggest challenges are, he talks about his true passion for the art and how in his many years of crafting he has never found a medium quite like glassblowing, so he intends on sticking to it.
