How to change Kwikset elock batteries

If you need to change batteries on a Kwikset electronic deadbolt here's a quick demo. This video is useful if you have to remove the rear cover. In some cases, the battery lid won't slide up and off, i.e. black plastic piece on the rear cover. If the battery lid won't come off then you'll need to remove the screws and rear cover as shown in this video. For more detailed instructions check out Kwikset's channel here: / kwikset
