What a great plugin. I knew there was a reason I invested so much in Brainstorm Force. I don't have a need for lifterLMS right now but excited to see the possibilities being opened up.
Yes there are also working on lots of different niche integrations like this that add zero extra weight to the theme. So they are also adding integration with booking plug-ins and event plug-ins. When I say integration I just mean they fix all the styling issues to make it look beautiful.
Great Idea but I don't see the Course Landing Page section anywhere or a dropdown from which I would be able to pick any of the existing Pages/Templates.

I know it is going to be a long one (Maybe that is why I don’t comment on UA-cam 😊 ) so I apologize for any inconvenience in advance. I accidentally found your page on UA-cam just few days ago and since then I have watched the whole series on “How To Create An Online Course Website With WordPress 2017”. First, I want to thank you man! Your videos are very good, and you are an excellent teacher. Secondly, I have couple of questions. First one is about payment. I really appreciate it if you make a video on the whole payment process. I mean from opening a bank account to how to put a gateway on the website, how the communication between website and bank or credit agency works, should I be worried about security of information that customers enter when they check out? Stuff related to tax and other things that you think they are important, but I have no idea about them. I should say that so far, I have come to conclusion that it might be easier for me to sell vouchers for my courses on other websites rather than having a gateway on my website to sell them directly. I know this is not a long-time solution, but it is the only way that I can avoid more complicated problems as of now. The second question is bout language. My website is in Farsi which is right to left language. So, I have to be able to align right every written text in the website. Sometimes I figure it out and find the setting and sometimes not (For example where we edit lessons in Lifter LMS). I know a little bit CSS but the problem is I do not know where to look for the code on the text (I mean theme, Elementor, Lifter LMS. So, could you please comment on that and explain about that in your 2018 series? Thirdly, I have two suggestions for you. 1- I think it would be nice to explain at the introduction video the application of each of those packages we install. I mean it might be a question for non-techy like me that why don’t we make the courses with just Elementor and we need to use Lifter LMS? I know there are lots of technical reasons (like server side programming) to add Lifter LMS but I think it would be nice for viewers to have an idea of how life is with and without theme, Elementor, Lifter LMS, … 2- I know you make the videos and then Lifter LMS, Elementor, …update their packages and then a button place or a setting changes. Then students who watch the videos several months later get confused. I have same problem with text books. I record a whole video series on high school math or physics which is like more than 15 hours and next year they change the textbook just a little bit! The way that I deal with this problem is that I make a very short video (called something like “edition”) with a distinct thumbnail and insert them in the playlist wherever that I want to warn student about the changes. This way students feel they have access to the most update version of courses. I thought this is not a bad idea, so i wanted to share it with you. Thank you again Adam!

It's not that it protects your content, it protects your course structure or what is called a syllabus so that someone can't see how you methodically break it down a course and simply make those lessons and sell their own version of the same topic of your course.

You say that you have approximately 7000 students in LifterLMS. Tell me, what kind of hosting is required for a site of courses with so many students? How many processor cores, how much RAM, etc.

I had looked at Astra when I initially purchased LIfterLMS but felt confident enought UDesign would serve my purposes due to flexibility. However, I have a question. I am willing to migrate to Astra but would like to know your approach on the Landing Page concept. WIll Astra provide or what is the best approach to building a landing page with this Custom Template such that is captures a 'signup' whose credentials can be captured and used my LifterLMS? I currently use Mailchimp and have the LifterLMS Mailchimp plugin.
Sensei has the same problem - very ugly sales pages. I've ditched all LMS plugins and I use custom post types, Woocommerce Memberships, Beaver Builder / Themer, Gravity Forms, and WPcomplete. The nice thing is I use those same plugins for everything else on my site.
The only reason is, Astra is doing a special integration where GeneratePress is not. So a perfect example is, with Astra LifterLMS will be instantly styled with your theme color and font choices. They also have improved many styling elements by default. It will be the go to theme for LifterLMS.

That's a tough one. I would suggest using a plug-in to add custom fields to the user table. Then you may need the gravity forms add-on for LifterLMS so that you can ask people these questions when they sign up. Ultimately I would suggest writing out exactly what you need and then contacting LifterLMS to find out the best way forward.

Looking forward to seeing this plugin. Being able to just make my own page and use that as a Lifter landing page is a game changer. Making me want to make my switch from BB Suite to Elementor/Astra. Yes Astra is trying to fix all of the visual front end problems with LifterLMS. Unfortunately all the learning management plug-ins have this same problem, they are ugly.
Not even close. Zerif is made by ThemeIsle that generally makes really crummy stuff. However, they are great at spending tons of money on advertising. It doesn't even come close to Astra, GeneratePress, or even OceanWP.

I followed your video in 2017 how to build a members website, brilliant. I used the website part, but not the membership part, now i am starting to use that as-well. On the2017 video you recommended to use generate press, which i did. Is it better to use Astra now, so i can keep up with your videos, and use this new plugin to make lifterlms work better? I am very new to developing, so i am nervous to change the theme, as i would of thought that would mess everything up? Am i right, or can i just change over?
The 2018 version is going to be based on Astra because they have built specific integration especially for me. I recently made a video going through all of the additions it brings. So your site will be easier to setup and look better. The only negative is the old lesson layout, you would lose that, but I there are better options.

hello i was wondering how to accept debit card and credit card payment with paypal payment pro account . i bought the lifterlms paypal gateway(PayPal Extension Personal) but at my end in setting there is no license key button . . please help me thanks and at my end lifterlms>setting>checkout it says allow using "PayPal Express Checkout." is that the only way? can i use paypal payment pro ? thank you so much

So all the custom css you would have needed to add, you won't need to. Also there are many improvements. Then in 3 weeks the improvements in Astra Pro are going to be shockingly awesome. Think the learner experience in Teachable.

sorry to bother you again i know you have been busy with new videos .and your videos are always the best . but i just cant find out the problem what i have . i bought the PayPal Extension plugin but there is no where to enter license key .and still wont work . i tried WooCommerce Extension that dont even have a option to do anything . sad .
No not at all. Some things were changed around to make sure it worked perfectly with all page builders. Now in a course you will see a tab named custom layouts. Also it doesn’t pull from the Elementor library any longer, there is a dedicated custom layouts under the LifterLMS settings.
To be clear>LifterLMS>Courses>Course Options Section>Custom Template Tab? And we have to copy our pages into this Course Template library? That sort of stinks if you already have a sales page you are optimizing and have to continually update it in 2 places.
If you have Elementor Pro you can use the template module and it will pull it in from the 1 place, the template library. I use this all the time, so for many of my pages where it has some of the same parts, I actually save it in the Elementor Template library, then I use that pro module anywhere I want. Then I only have to update it in 1 location in the future.

If you connect PayPal to the PayPal LifterLMS extension, then PayPal will let your customers use any form of credit card or debit card payment.

To be clear>LifterLMS>Courses>Course Options Section>Custom Template Tab? And we have to copy our pages into this Course Template library? That sort of stinks if you already have a sales page you are optimizing and have to continually update it in 2 places.
If you have Elementor Pro you can use the template module and it will pull it in from the 1 place, the template library. I use this all the time, so for many of my pages where it has some of the same parts, I actually save it in the Elementor Template library, then I use that pro module anywhere I want. Then I only have to update it in 1 location in the future.
Okay so create>save to library>edit/update from library and anywhere it's posted will update?
