My tree surgeon buddy likes the Stihl battery saws for top handle work and small ground saws - not cheap though! I use a cheap corded saw on cordwood - it works fine. If I was going cordless I would consider the DeWalt ones as I have a stack of batteries

@@exmoortrapper1187 Hi Matt! The only trouble with the 18V system is that its runtime is limited. I use an 18V grinder and even with 5AH batteries its easy to run them flat. But for big jobs there is always petrol!
