Blessed to have spent time in the keys younger, duck key. unfortunately got into flats fishing way later in life. I am grateful and blessed for the captains and mentors take me out on the water, especially the Florida Bay. I produce dub now inspired by fishing and the ocean. Would be honored to have some music featured on sports fishing. What beautiful productions and shots brought to the screen, with the masters.
March 1997 I was 37 years old and had dreamed of going big game fishing all my life. My fiancee and I booked a trip to Walker's. Got there in beautiful weather and the next day it rained for three straight days with winds up to 70mph. Pretty much a cold water hurricane. Fishing for us was wiped out but we were regulars at the bar and tried everything on the dinner menu. Saddened to see the damage from the storms but excited to see Carl Allen's work bringing the legend back to life. Three decades throws heavy weather at you in life. The fiancee is now the ex-wife and the kids are grown. I hope to go back to Walkers, get my fishing in and thank Mr. Allen for what he has done with Walker's Cay. God bless.
Love to hear Flip again. I miss those Walker Cay Chronicles. Mr Allen, I've been wondering about these cottages......are they coming over anytime soon?
Not happening. They completed the structures that Allen had contracted to Straticon construction. Allen changed plans and Straticon had to chase him for final payment. All the cottages are still sitting on the canal in Stuart. Rumor has it some will be sold and taken to green turtle cay. Unlikely Carl Allen actually builds out walkers now that he has pillaged all he can from the maravillas wreck off the northern side of the island.
@@HungDao-m4x Whoa.....very interesting. I live around the corner from where they sit. I watched as they were being built and kept asking about the long term plan. I saw them completed and then nothing happened. That's too bad......they would be perfect over there. I would love to see them in Macleans Town or Sweetings Cay.
@@TheOutdoorswithCarlAllenStraticon says different. The cottages were completed in Stuart but aren't making it to the island? Walkers island staff let go and forced to signed NDAs w hush money. Keep up the lies
@@HungDao-m4x The cottages built by Straticon are not the end all be all. Straticon does not speak on behalf of Walker's Cay. The rumors you heard are the actual lies. Walker's Cay is an island for all and will continue to be. You will be excited to see the real plan unfold.

I been trying to get in contact with you! I know you hunt treasure I grow up in those waters I know where A old wooden boat with a mermaid build into the hull halfway under the mud from the years it being there but I never had the time to get back still have the location if you interested
Started going to Walkers in the early eighty's my mid to late 20s by 1998 sadly the fishing was a shell of what it was the first time i went. The absents of people there has brought the fishing back . But now you have a Marina twice the size of what it was many more boats now! just hope there is some strict regulation on the fishing to preserve the fishery??

I wouldn’t count on it

Hooking a good one is like hooking lightning.
Was Walker Cay previously named Spanish Cay Island?
Nope! Spanish Cay is further south. Great Island!
