@@artdanks4846 Yes, they both sang Lucia for the first time in the Met in 1956. The difference is that Peters appeared in February, while Callas only came to Met in October of the same year and played the role in December.
In 1958 she also recorded the role with my late friend Jan Peerce, for RCA LP's later in the early 1980's she sang the role with Corelli, his only Edgardo ever, but not a good role for him, RIP. .@@spyserse2219

When she recorded it in 1957 or 1958 with Peerce (her mentor early on ) he was 53 years old and she in her Mid 20's as she was here. @@spyserse2219 y
