The mind doesn't create thoughts, it receives and process thoughts. And remember that the devil can and does suggest thoughts too. That's why I said don't own every thought that flys into head. 3. @@tum2 Exactly. After having issues with my Mom one day....My mind began to race with this thought and that thought..and all the TRASH began coming up. I STOPPED IT, REJECTED IT, everytime it tried coming back I put my foot down. And kept my mind on CHRIST. PERIOD. God bless
My husband and I just left a church that was firm in the teaching of demons. Every situation you faced, fear, anger, uncertainty, confusion and the list goes on and on. Every situation called for deliverance. About a year before we left my spirit was screaming NOOO. I came across one of David’s messages and it immediately clicked. I was able to get my husband to listen to the message and it broke that bondage. God lead me to Jude about a year before leaving. This passage talks about false teachers. David, you are sooo right. It takes dicipline to listen to the Holy Spirit. But when you surrender, a peace will come over you that is truly beyond all understanding. There is no high like the high of the Holy Spirit!
I can identify with the Rh and fibromyalgia. One surgery kicked it all off for me. Constant chronic pain and fatigue. I suppose God has a purpose for it all @66. 10 years of it gets exhausting. It numbs any kind of love and joy feelings. Once in a while, I get the Joy emotion part. As a man, I used to spread Joy and lead worship songs playing guitar and mandolin. Now, it's like hibernation. haha
Such a powerful message! I noticed that the longer you stay in the presence of God, the more your gifts are opened up! You don’t even have to pray after a while. Just lay prostrate soaking him up. Just see Jesus standing at the right hand of the father! 💜
The more my flesh tries to distract me with pointless thoughts and distractions, the more I need to keep praying. It's His will, not mine. True worship is done in Spirit and in Truth. May the Spirit always lead me in prayer. So I pray always within the will of God and in Jesus name I faithfully know with confidence the answer is yes. As it is Written. So true, I am dealing w/ this right now. Friends are starting to disappear and not wanting to hang out with me, while my lukewarm Christian friends are talking about me behind my back and don't really want to associate w/ me anymore except on Sundays. It doesn't make me sad for me but sad for them.

The Holy Spirit put it on my heart to switch my phone and TV off, go sit in bed, and read His Word. I'm now in bed at 9 pm and read til about 10.00/10.30. This one instruction that I made myself do has helped with 3 other things I've been praying about. I love our Lord, He truly loves us. Yes, I've also had to stop going places and spending time with certain people. This move brought home to me that part in God's Word that says other people's habits become your habits - WOW! TRUTH, TRUTH, TRUTH. I'm far happier right now. All glory to God, in Jesus's name Amen.
