I missed a couple things. Did you set the pushed tool to zero lash or to actual length?
How did you get any exhaust print with no pushrod on it?

You don't have to do any tuning if it doesn't run😅

You either flycut or get a thicker head gasket

Do you need to prime the lifters or use solid lifters for this?

Thats why he is using the checking spring so there Will be no preload on the lifter if you dont use checking spring then you need to use solid lifter
