- Here's one that was heavily suggested on a community post. Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction. I really liked this one. I was quite disappointed about the volume level though, it was really low!
Here is my reaction to hearing Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction for the first time. I hope you enjoy it!

😎👍
I have only one word for DIO the greatest metal voice of all but I will warn u once here him there’s no going back 🤘🏻
Transition to a lower dose patch or if you have a vape that you can fill with juice, check out "Black Note"... all it is is cold-macerated tobacco leaves and pg/vg carrier oil. The latter option allows you to break the nicotine shackle since you can mix in a measured dose of 0mg, then increase the 0mg, repeat until you kill the nic addiction. I made it a month, but everyone in my house smokes and I fell back into it (that's after 30-40 cigs daily for nearly 35 years).
Good Luck, you got this. Nip it now or pay later!
Dave Mustaine is a cancer survivor. ❤
I was a metalhead and rap guy in the 80's/90's. Always refreshing to see the next generation find greatness.
same!
Exactly
A good song is a good song, regardless of the style. I agree
It’s a well-conceived album…seriously - does it not offer the listener a great deal more than the album’s predecessor which is entirely thrash? Mr. Mustaine is no fool
Right. I’ve never understood the idea of oh I can’t like this song or this genre…this isn’t for me, I’m supposed to belong to this or that…….I just love music
This entire album is fire.. Every single song. The best tone Megadeth pulled out.
He needs to check out architecture of aggression & ashes in your mouth
No the best are rust and peace and dystopia
its this tone i fell in love with when i started out listening to Megadeth
@@Th3_Colony yes, and it is so underrated (as is cryptic writings)
@norme10 I agree! 🤘🤘
“Angry Again” next 🙏🏼
I haven’t listened to these classics in a while. This song came to mind when I read the title. 😅
Yes! My personal favorite.
@@michaelshelton3910 highly underrated 🤘🏼💪🏼
❤
This. Angry again is great.
Martys guitar solo in Symphony Of Destruction is fantastic.
Dude, you made my day. Slayer and Megadeth....
My top 2 ALL-TIME FAVORITE BANDS.
this song is SPECTACULAR, one of the first songs I listened to before I started getting passionate about metal... I still have a lot to learn about metal because I've only been listening to it for 8 months. Thanks to your videos I discovered new songs that I like, they also help expand my tastes in metal subgenres 🤘
Glad to see others are being corrupted with Molly🤘
First Megadeth song to learn on guitar
That whole album + the follow-up "Youthanasia" are my two fav-albums from Megadeth! 😊
Youthanasia is awesome
Mustaine, Ellefson, Friedman, and Menza: far and AWAY the best lineup Megadeth ever had
Holy wars Live at Hammersmith, when freedman, mustaine, menza are head banging at the start is epic.
this is the stuff where I think Megadeth really shines...surprisingly catchy, groovy tracks! LOVE the hard thrash, but these are really fun too
Megadeth probably the best 80s metal band imo
This was part of the soundtrack of my childhood in the 80s and teens in the 90s!
In My Darkest Hour, has to be next, Listen to Dave giving his best snarl! Keep up the good work MB
Agreed
Yes! That song is a must!
Absolutely has to be next! That song hit me hard back in summer of 1988.
Since the first time I heard this song in the early 90's until now I've probably heard the song 300 times and I still love it.
The production on this album is on another level. Great reaction, More MEGADETH!
I had the pleasure of seeing them at a small venue in Austin Texas (Stubbs Barbecue) for a warm up show before a starting a world wide tour for the 25th anniversary of “Symphony of Destruction” Slayer and Anthrax played as well.
I got to see Megadeth live with Suicidal Tendencies in 1992 shortly after this album released. One of the best shows I've been to. Both bands were absolutely killer.
The volume is likely low because back in 90's and earlier, music was just mixed at a lower volume. For whatever weird reason, music is mixed much louder now. Also, this album specifically was a bit quieter than other stuff of its era.
I saw the same tour - even met the band for 3hrs after!
The PS3 original startup sound ia actually an Orchestra tuning to A in unison. You'll hear that a lot, that's why it's used in this piece, since it's a "Symphony".
that was the song that got me into Megadeth when Countdown To Extinction came out
Iconic Track! one of the band's best, I recommend "In My Darkest Hour" from their Third Album, and I recommend Metallica's "Jump In The Fire" from the classic Kill 'Em All!!!
Definitely one of my favs from Megadeth! Great job on quitting, I've done it myself, it's tough but it's worth it.
Amon Amarth is a band you should check out . Songs like Pursuit of Vikings and Runes to My Memory sum them up pretty well . The first song i mentioned is heavy yet melodic , and the second is slower paced but super catchy !!! And yeah , they are a Viking Metal band . I think you would enjoy it as it brings another metal flavor and style for your ears and mind to take in .
This is definitely a song you want in 320k and nice and loud to really feel the badassery in full effect. It’s such an easy riff too! Fun to play and I use this riff to tune my guitar sound checks.
I listened to this album today in the car, thats awesome! Lets Go!!
Dave's lyrics and words speak the truth even on today's times. Love Megadeth.
DUUUDDE!!’ Your hitting all the classics! Good job, keep up with this algorithm 😅
Finally. Now you get this thing 😅 💪
Mate, old bloke here from the 80s and 90s. One of the best things in my life other than all the insane music back then was giving up smoking...i guarantee you will not regret it!
'..The earth start to rumble' :D
great song here! production is top notch also
I'm more of a grunge and 90s era music lover/guitarist/ singer/ not really metal head but...... I love Megadeth !!! The guitar solos and riffs they come up with are killer 🤘 I was born in 83 and started playing guitar in 93 so this was in the radio along with all the great music coming out the next few years. Then boy bands and rap took over 😢I will always be a 90s kid so I at least have that😂
Check out this song in concert live from Argentina.
The crowd is amazing.
This is my favourite MD song, so glad you liked it. It’s just so crunchy!
I was blessed to finally see them perform - a year ago today actually- at knotfest australia. They’ve definitely still got it, I enjoyed their set immensely. (That was a great line up too! Finished the day with MegaDeath, then Parkway Drive (which you need to add to your list!) and then Slipknot. So good, I went twice ❤️ (we also got the newer bands Bad Omens, Northlane and Spiritbox which are all great once you finish going through these old classics)
As an aging metal fan, i send immense respect to you for giving this genre a good go, and i'm glad you are enjoying yourself.
I would be very interested in you taking the time to have a first listen to SHINEDOWN - Devour. And CLAWFINGER - Truth. I really believe you will like what you hear.
Keep posting the videos as they are very enjoyable to watch your journey
I used to listen to this to pump me up for me hockey games. 1991-1992.
Dude, your face reactions are genuine! 🤘😎
Yesss!! What a way to start my Sat morning! I love that you love this!!!
Deep Purple - Child in Time Live Made in Japan - Masterpeice Insane Vocals Insane Lead solo Going way back to 1972 No Matter what they say this is The Highest Masterpeice version -They are a much more Power virtuoso band Llive Metallicas drummers favourite band its from a Live album Made in Japan
Cool tune! I can recommend...
Set the world afire
Mary Jane
My last words
The conjuring
I love set the world afire. I can only listen to it with into the lungs of hell though as a sort of intro to it.
I've been watching your channel for a couple of weeks now and I've come to appreciate your approach to the music and how your tastes have broadened in that time. That's why I decided to subscribe today. Your passion for the music is infectious and I hope you never lose it. There are many songs I could suggest but I think the first should be Megedeth We'll be Back - Chapter One. I think you will enjoy the song and the official video - very thought provoking. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Canada!
Welcome aboard!
I was 16 when Youthanasia was released. I saw them supported by Corrosion of Conformity in Leeds. Both bands were brilliant. Youthanasia is still my favourite album.
I discovered the band with this very song back in the day! :)
Was a huge Megadeth fan when I saw them, supported by a band unknown to me called Pantera (Dub War opened the show before Benji formed the amazing Skindred! See you at Steelhouse this year boys!) Pantera absolutely owned the show,as much as I was and still am a Dethhead!
This is my favorite album of theirs. There's not a bad song on it.🤘
That solo in the middle is one of the best in any song for me, no messing, nothing unnecessary but a near perfect fit for the song.
Great reaction mollyboy , Megadeth is badass I don't care what anyone says !!! 🤘🎸🎸🇺🇸💯...
You said the volume was low, I noticed that too for this video on UA-cam. Really stands out when I would play it on my tv. I added it to a playlist for when I'm walking on my treadmill at home. It drops in volume from other videos. Even other videos of theirs are higher, this one is low for some reason. I love this song, it was one of my favorite karaoke songs. I would smoke a cigar, have a couple screwdrivers, to get my vocals to at least approach that snarling Mustaine vocal range.
The Nice Inch Nails remix of this called The Gristle Remix is pretty dang sweet.
I love watching your reactions to all of these iconic metal songs you’ve been choosing. You haven’t even scratched the surface of the heavy metal genre and I appreciate the love you’ve been showing towards metal. I’m more into death metal now, but all of these songs were an influence while I was growing up. Rock on!
Blessed the algorithm brought me to your channel. Subbed and watched 3 vids already.
Thanks for subscribing 😁
Congratulations 🍾🎈🎉🎊 kid on the not smoking. I smoked for over 30 years and tried quitting several times but finally succeeded almost 3 years ago so again good on ya m8🤘🏻🔥💥🙏🏻💯
Yup, quit them cigs early, I did when I was 24, so glad i did " don't miss them a bit" No more waking up coughing a big lunger :) Keep it up, worth it.
Maybe someone else has mentioned it, but there are some browser extensions that can add some volume. Not sure how they sound with music after UA-cam compression does its thing, but they may help. Also possibly something like the Steelseries Sonar software which would allow you to control your audio separately from the stream/recorded feed, and add EQ or volume where you want it.
This channel.is great! You read the comments, you take requests, you react to all the banger songs...yeah man, you're channel is gonna get swole
Keep up the patches... You'll live forever.❣️
Just finished the SLAYER reaction and now Megadeth.... 👍... Get the chance "In my Darkest Hour by Megadeth".... Great song
Symphony of Destruction is my favourite Megadeth song.
Can remember in the 1990s watching Megadeth play at Rock City Nottingham England under the name; Vic & the Rattle Heads
If you want to see something spectacular, look up the video of their live performance of this song in Buenos Ares, Argentina.
I listened to the full album on my walk today, it was pretty good.
Great job Mollyboy!!! Stoping smoking will be your greatest choice u will ever make
Hey brotherman good seein ya kicking ass.
This songs fun to play on guitar
Yo my guy, subscribed, you sound like you're from near me accent wise, i dj dnb but metal is probably my first real love of music, megadeth defo one of my favourites
I have my desktop going through a PA, but I did have to boost the volume a bit. I would have done it anyway because this song is killer! Thanks for reacting to it!
Another iconic track from this era of thrash, in the same vein lyrically, would definitely be Vote With A Bullet by Corrosion Of Conformity.
Megadeth is the king of soundtracks, this song appears on 3 video games and i can't tell you how many movie soundtacks have a mega deth song, they released an album called hidden treasures it's there sound track songs
Don't stress on the channel boss. Just keep reacting and have fun discovering new genre and ideas. Live and enjoy and let it take it's course. All good. 🤘🤘Enjoy this whole album also! All bangers!
Aah man I'm so glad you chose this, this whole album is amazing, think of it as megadeths "and justice for all'
The song writing is alot more refined on this than rust in peace, less frantic solo's and more groovy riffs (still some amazing solo's though)
Hope you go through the whole album mate.....
Enjoy 😊
It's their "BLACK ALBUM".
@@satanlaffingI came here to say the same thing!! They took a step down from the thrash and went more straight hard rock, just like Metallica.
@@brettkenschaft4239 i'd say it's "thrash lite" & definitely thrashier than the black album.
@@satanlaffing I've never understood why Metallica get accused of selling out with the Black album, and yet nobody accuses Megadeth of selling out with Countdown To Extinction even though it's way more commercial than anything Metallica have ever released (and yes, that includes Load and Reload). I'm not hating on the album though. TBH it's always been my favourite Megadeth album, and Dave's voice has never sounded better than it does here.
@@carlgibson285I’d have to disagree. Dave’s vocals are great in this album, but I think Youthanasia is peak-level for Mustaine’s vocal work. Highly underrated vocal work I might add.
So glad you have found the countdown to extinction album you will line the lyrics and voice
You are nailing it bro, anything in life worth having can be a pain in the ass, just keep marching forward 🤘🏻
If you don't nod your head to this your not of this earth..❤
Side note: the baby the politician kisses in the video was Justis Mustaine, Dave's new-born son at the time of this clip.
Great reaction. Perhaps the source vid you chose is the cause of the poor audio?
Try not to stress man, you've got a loyal following and you're genuine. Keep em coming.
I'll just add that any video that shows Marty Freidman playing will be a winner. Amazing musician.
In my darkest hour, it will brighten your day my friend 😊
Great album!
Some great songs on it for sure🤘
Nice, i was hopening this was in the queue
One of their best albums. Great song choice. Congratulations on a week of not smoking. 🤘🤘
This song and she wolf are my favorite songs from megadeth. As for his voice, it comes off high pitched for me, a lot of thier music is treble strong.
The first full song I learned on guitar!!!
Just watched you do WALK, Pantera and you mentioned greats you hadn't known about, I immediately thought of this song. So, since you have this one, may I suggest you listen to Empire, by Queensryche. Its an album title, but a song on said album, it's not hard like these guys, but its an incredibly well done album, so when I think of music younger might be missing out on, this album in particular is definitely a hidden gem! ❤ your channel, stick with it!!
Skin o my teeth, High speed dirt, captive honour, and especially Ashes in your Mouth are top tier in this Album
Que bonito que valores las bandas de Metal, vas por muy buen camino... sigue así
Saludos desde Valparaíso-Chile
Congrats and way to go on such a hard mission of quiting smoking. U know even tho I turned 60 yesterday, I will always be a forever fan of every genre of rock. The power and energy gives life, yeah man. Thanx so much, Be well, Peace
Glad you like this, try train of consequences. Killer track.
The live in Argentina video is awesome with insane crowd interaction!!!
Met Dave as a teen, got a poster signed. It was brief but he was nice to me, so despite the hate he gets I still like him. Got a free ticket to the Megadeth show that night from a fellow metalhead I made friends with in line to meet Dave that had an extra ticket, one of my favorite memories! \m/
Love the Reaction videos 🔥
Thank you
Another favorite of mine!!🤘🏻🤘🏻 The original production was the best. A while back it was remastered and the sound was terrible.
I love Megadeth. I’m going age myself here but I saw them before they became big. They were playing at a small bar at an all ages show. Got their autographs on the flyer. I was like 15.
Man I love your stuff! Id love if you went into a bit of Avenge sevenfold, "Shepherd of Fire" definitely, or "unholy confessions" those two are a great introduction to them. Keep it up!
Five Magics! Bass on that track is killer!
It's 90s. 😉 That was the first time I really got into Megadeth. Obviously I've gone back to their earlier stuff. Stonking album.
When I seen Megadeth live it was and still is the loudest thing I have ever heard!! My ears rang for three days! The original version of a song is always the loudest!! Keep it coming bro!
Oh yes... I've seen Megadeth a few times live and yeah, one particular show with them and the Misfits was easily the loudest show I have ever been to. My one friend even claims to have suffered some permanent hearing damage from that show... he now suffers from tinnitus.
I was in the front row, unfortunately right up against huge ass speakers, for Pantera and Ozzy back in 2000. Not exxageration, i believe my hearing was damaged that night lol, totally worth it though.
Good vocals are found on your side of the pond. Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow has three great singers.
I would recommend you watch
slayer - postmortem
Body count - reign in blood/postmortem (yep, double cover)
iron maiden - hallowed be thy name
motorhead - going to brazil OR Iron fist
and then see where the journey takes you after that.
Angry Again is a banger to check out from Megadeth 🤘🏻🖤
There is another video of this song but with the volume much higher, you should see that one, the one Megadeth uploaded to their channel is very low
also a now defuncted band, but was great back in the 80s. check out Flotsam and Jetsam - "Doomsday for the deceiver" album. the bassist went on to be Metallica's second bassist after Cliff passed away
I already have it downloaded to my phone and it is perfect
Dave’s riffs are killer. Check out the change up in the song “Wake Up Dead”. It’s probably my favorite song from Megadeth.
One of the best metal albums ever ...megadeth were on fire at this point with an amazing line up ...in my opinion there's not one filler on this album every song is awesome ..Great reaction 👍
This song and video just rocks, love Megadeth symphony of destruction it just gets deep into your soul !!!
