The Tenerife disaster is just unforgettable in aviation history.
Just because of a lack of communication between the airliners and the control tower, the two planes where outside on the same runway, the KLM taking off and PanAm plane rolling for arrival.
And yet many people dont know about the crash, JAL 123 for example almost everybody knows.

61 of the PanAm passengers, including the pilots and three of the FAs were fortunate to get out alive.
1 KLM passenger decided to disembark at Tenerife due to sheer coincidence that the plane diverted on the same island she lived in. So she didn’t board and ended up alive.

Malaysia airlines has 2 consecutive losses in the same year. First was the infomous MH370 then several months later was the MH17

Pretty scary on how many plane crashes had happened throughout the years and realize couldn’t include all but one not mentioned was flight 1771 on Dec 7th 1987; disgruntled employee hijacked plane after shooting ex boss, air crew, then put the plane into steep nose dive. There still debate whether or not he killed himself or another passenger prior to place crashing but either way, 42 people died in the murder-suicide. This happened in Southern California.

There’s also Thai Airways flight 310 that crashed Himalayan mountain in 1992, it was the first fatal crashes involving Airbus A310.

The aeroflot crash of 94 was not just the kids. The plane was a very new model and was automated. When the kids took the pilot seat the girl didn't cause anything but the boy turned the control and held on more than 30 seconds. What any of the crew didn't know was the auto pilot was designed so that any interraction with the control wheel that lasted longer than 30 seconds would disable the autopilot. It was determined along with human error Boeing hadn't been aware of this feature thus not informing the pilots. So when the pilot took his kids to the seat he was under the assumption that the autopilot was up and running the whole time. And it was until the 30th second of his son taking the seat.

Here in Brazil, there have been two air disasters in consecutive years: GOL Linhas Aéreas, mid-air collision (154 deaths) in 2006 and TAM, which collided with a building (199 deaths) in 2007.

You missed another fatal crash, which I witnessed myself: Nigeria Airways flight 2120 (operated by Nationair Canada) was a chartered service flying passengers from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to Sokoto, Nigeria on July 11th, 1991. Shortly after takeoff from Jeddah, the Douglas DC-8-61 burst into flames and attempted to return for an emergency landing. Sadly, the plane crashed and all 247 passengers and 14 crew members were killed.

The cause of sriwijaya air crash:
asymmetrical thrust setting due to a faulty autothrottle system. A feature central to the immediate deactivation of the autothrottle, the Cruise Thrust Split Monitor (CTSM), failed to work properly due to signal interference from the aircraft's spoilers, causing the thrust asymmetry to increase. The aircraft turned left instead of right as intended and eventually entered an upset condition. Lack of upset and recovery training contributed to the pilots' inability to prevent and recover from the upset condition

A pretty good list, that's almost complete. But you omitted 2, of the most famous, air disasters. PanAm flight 800 (the one that got shot down, by the US Navy off of, Long Island, in 1996. The one the movie 'Final Destination', is styled after), and the British Airways, Concord crash.

As a Malaysian, I am very sad of the Malaysia airlines MH17. Until now the case hasnt had closure yet.

MH370 who vanished and was never recovered and MH17 who flew from The Netherlands to Malysia but was shot down over Ukraine by pro Russian rebels. 296 people died, among them 198 people from my country the Netherlands. 3 people have been sentenced to life in prison in absenstia. Unfortunately, waiting for a miracle of them being extradited or caught in some way is the only thing to do.
My heart goes out to anyone who lost family members in these tragedies.

Having a suicidal crewmate, like in the Germanwings crash. There is also another one (I forgot which aircraft) where an airline employee was terminated. He boarded the plane and murdered the pilots, causing the plane to crash.

I've seen these kinds of plane crashes by watching a TV show called Air Disasters. I am guessing that these clips were taken from the show (some but not all of them because it hasn't been aired yet, but still I want to see them)
