I'm a new subscriber and as I can see you probably have a new kid :3 If that's so then congrats!))) Btw, your channel is fantastic. I would love to see more videos about Fusion on your channel...
Nice video, very educative, thank you man. It would be great if you also could emphasize about the keyboard shortcuts you use to apply certain adjustment like duplicate, some of us are just starting and don't know how to duplicate or basic stuff like that. Thanks!
Thank you! Glad you liked it! The idea behind this new series is to help creators get valuable inputs through this kind of mini 3D builds. This is going to be fun!
I'm glad to see you guys are back! Top notch content as usual! I am currently learning Blender and can see the benefits of doing basic 3D on Fusion instead. Intense tools!
Thank you Nathalia, it is good to be back! 3D in Fusion gets particularly exciting when you start adding integration to other compositing tools or scripting.
Hi, that was great! How far do you feel you can push DR Fusion to create more complex 3D mesh constructions with textures? Is DR Fusion mainly for more simple models, and best to leave the complex models for dedicated software like Blender?
Hello, je modélise des persos sous Blender et souhaite les intégrer dans DVR... malgré tous les tutos, je bloque sur l'affichage de la forme 3d ET l'ajout des textures. Ce serait possible d'avoir un tuto détaillé ? Merci
Apologies for the late reply, your comment passed through our notifications. We have this topics in our books for a while and we just to find some time to make it.
Hey, thank you! 3D compositing is going to be a recurring series on our channel so will get to that in more detail but for short because the question is broad, Normals and tangents are lines that define how a surface is shaded and the direction of textures that you might have applied. Shapes inside Fusion don’t have normals and tangents by default and they are usually computed by the renderer tool. The replace normals tool is used to alter and recompute them. Otherwise, the controls inside the Shape 3D tool are just to change the visibility of those lines on the geometry.
It's funny how most of the time, I have to re-watch the video to have any idea what the question is about. 😅 That's a very good question and I think I actually mentioned why in the video. You could use only 1 merge3D for everything but using multiple nodes gives you a lot more flexibility and can avoid some issues. In that case, the Merge3D that you mention is used to not only group those 3D shapes but also to animate them on the Y axis. Otherwise, we would have to animate them individually which is not always a good idea. We wouldn't animate the first Merge3d as it would also rotate the triangular shape. That's also my programming background that makes me build most things as individual modules that interact with each others.
@@CoreAndBlue Ahhh I see, I recall you saying that actually, that if you connect them then they pull characteristics from the other nodes. So basically anything you put into a merge together is animated in the same way?
Bonjour, seulement en Anglais avec des sous-titres FR pour chaque vidéo. Le jour où UA-cam nous laissera ajouter une seconde piste audio, on ajoutera un doublage Français. 😁
Pretty excited to finally bring this topic and new format to our channel. What kind of 3D composition would you build?
Thank you! Blender is definitely a great tool with a large community.

Excellent Video!! you are amazing how you handle Fusion 3D

Pas de soucis, c'est quelque chose que nous avons de prévu. 😉
do you think you could do a video where you import from autodesk fusion 360?
Apologies for the late reply, your comment passed through our notifications.

Awesome videos . Any chance you can explain Shape 3D1 normals/tangents in tools davinci resolve and how to use them?

@@CoreAndBlue Thank you very much for replying
Hey Core, why can we not connect all of the shapes to the first Merge3D? We added a second to merge the Torus and Cylinder. Great video, thanks!

how about a video on your opening?
We have a couple vidéos about making great intros in the pipeline so yes, it is coming.
So hard to understand Fusion and 3d ....But Death....i can sure understand Death 😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘 thanks for the tutorial bro! 🙏💯
Haha thanks! Very appreciated.
@@CoreAndBlue Be well brother! Thanks for sharing knowledge! Hope you listen to Gojira as well😁 Still easier than Fusion...🤣🤜🤛
@Chris Papakiritsis Covers Yeah, they are alright. 😉 Don’t worry, a few tutorials and we’ll make it dead simple. 🤟💀

Hahaha you make it look so easy. Too bad my dumbass won't even know how to download and use it
