Sorry if this doesn't make sense, i'm still young and i'm still learning.
@@kristenfernandez5647 start off with realism and slowly use those skills to help you with anime drawings, I started out drawing anime styled characters but my anatomy and figure sketches were all badly sized or drawn, I then started working on realism and that improved my knowledge on where shadows need to be and how the figure should look like
That akward moment when u found this vid and u try to do it as well... but then when u look at your old drawings.... its like a cursed pile or papers or rituals to spawn those things in rl.....weird.....
I remember this girl when I was about 15. I was in this little socialising club since I was homeschooled and these clubs were get-togethers each week so us homeschool kids could interact. We both enjoyed drawing anime which was nice, but on showing me her drawings, they were clearly direct copies of images from obscure anime I had seen or heard of. She tried saying she made them up and were original, I guess expecting no one to have seen anime so obscure. That is until I printed off the images she copied to show her the following week and called her out. (Would have been quicker if smart phones were common back then) Got her to try drawing something then and there for me. It was terrible. She didn't understand proportions or anatomy at all. Point is, everyone can made good looking art if they just copy or trace a good piece of art. You need to only use reference to build your experience. Don't know how to draw a particular pose or how a piece of clothing would crinkle and fold in that position? Reference. Then practice so your intuition and knowledge grows for how things should look.
@CactiIsPlural he made a paragraph of constructive criticism. just bc hur dur its animue doesnt mean it isnt art. illustration is illustration and its good criticism. wacc
regardless, there is definitely talent here, the colorization all these technical aspects simply cant just simply be copied and expect to have a good result, it still takes talent copied or not, besides judging from the work shown, Im sure my man has the capability to do so. The only major problem I see is character design, but that's not all too big an issue, and Im pretty sure he has the skill to turn that design to a fully fledged piece
Larkspur I agree if that were me I would only copy just to put them on my wall even though it would be easier to just print them and put them there drawing them myself seems fun. I hope he isn’t using that as his portfolio

Legendary but he copied pic for almost 10 years
劉軒 so? The amount of detail he puts in them, especially the live action ones are still amazing!
劉軒 ye i know but how did you learn how to draw bro?
Copying is fine in the beginning, but copying for ten years? there is no way copying can land you in a professional and stable career. The amount of detail doesn't even matter, because in the end, its still copying the amount of detail in the original drawing.
aka the detail is copied from the digital art
My God, be patient to draw like this. But the result is incredible.

I feel jealous to see people born with such talent, but as much as i like it i believe other people can do something like this to everyone has their own talent like this guy
I am really impressed that you inspire people with your drawings keep it up!
really impressive but maybe try to create your own original art(like by finding ur own style and not copying other artists’ artworks cause i recognize sakimichan’s, artgem’s, artbycarlos’s and other artists’ works here)? i have no doubt that you’ll do wonderful
Ok.
No that probably just means come up with your own designs, create your own characters not abandon the style.

I can draw characters just fine, but off other people's designs. I just can't seem to find/create my ideal drawing style
Lol same
I can't find my drawing style either. People always talk about how you should draw what you want to and represent yourself in your drawing, but I can't find the drawing style that really screams me :(
i found my ideal style but i just cant seem to keep it and it changes quite a bit whenever i try using that style again
I'm actually really lost right now, since i wanna find my style but someone told me that i should start with realism. Realism is fun and all but i still wanna make those adorable ocs with unique designs and stuff. Should i do both realism and anime-ish drawings or just focus on one thing entirely? Sorry if this doesn't make sense, i'm still young and i'm still learning.
@@kristenfernandez5647 start off with realism and slowly use those skills to help you with anime drawings, I started out drawing anime styled characters but my anatomy and figure sketches were all badly sized or drawn, I then started working on realism and that improved my knowledge on where shadows need to be and how the figure should look like

I really like your drawings, they inspire me.
If only I knew how to draw like you.
It's just practice man gotta get on that practice
Then learn how to draw like that... it's years upon years of practice but everyone can do it
I remember this girl when I was about 15. (Would have been quicker if smart phones were common back then)
Got her to try drawing something then and there for me.
