What makes this course so hard to get 1st on in master is simply how much the AI cheats, especially in the last corner where you have to slow down or else you'll fly off and crash, while they can make it while boosting like crazy. Best result I've gotten on it is 4th place using the Rainbow Phoenix. Edit: I finally got a 1st place finish earlier today! The key is having enough of a lead at the final turn so you don't get overtaken
Same here. In fact, i consider getting destructive one of the best ways to beat a master gp, especially in the Sapphire Cup and the Diamond Cup. If you can do that then you can place terribly in the last race but still finish in 1st place overall.
The only way i was ever able to take 1st here was to reset the GP until the Arrows/Gazelle/Twin Norrita didn't show up in the lineup, and even then I saw the Wild Boar take flight on the final turn trying to pull a fast one.

Yeesh, not even Ephraim225 can make it in 1st on Master Difficulty; tho he still won 1st overall. Hell, he was even using a broken machine!
Ah, the good old broken down finish. It's very useful in GX. A lot of top speedrunners like to use that.
