I would like to praise how Akihiko's VA's delivery of the apology to Aigis sounds so scripted. Like everything Akihiko says thereafter just sounds like he has scripted and practiced for the eventuality that somebody questions him on his eating habits.
I love this aigis design it’s so human yet not
I thought aigis was gonna kill him im dying. Maybe it’s the lack of music but I was genuinely terrified she wa gonna do something terrifying.
I thought she was gonna start "adult" time 😅 and that the music would start when the room locked

I really like it, the characters are really expressive and the camera makes it really dynamic despite being just a still conversation, and enhances the dramatic tone in places. I like that Akihiko seems increasingly concerned that aigis is just calling him into a death trap. I liked the bit where Aigis could tell he was worried about the camera (?) picking up on their conversation. Really cool ( ᐛ )b

I really love how you made the camera really dynamic with the scenes from “Inversion”! Such as when either Akihiko or Aegis are looking at certain items to highlight it, as well fully focusing on the character themselves once Akihiko ED is being discussed giving it a serious tone as it focus on the two of them in the room.
You really brought this scene from the story really well with small details that I do hope the author does get a chance to see it one day!

Of all the authors you could've lovingly dedicated 8 minutes of striking visuals, scene blocking, and voice acting towards -- seeing halfpenny_jones in the description was. a trip,,,,,,,
I had the dawning realization that _and your lights burning_ (almost 90k of the tenderest p5 sakura family emotions i've ever seen + a literal one-fic rarepair) was their creation too.............. and now i'm mentally preparing for bawling my eyes out at another round of "persona characters dealing with things poorly" 😭
bruh i haven't even made it halfway thru _and your lights burning_ i can't get attached to almost 136k of *this* kind of story when your animatic has already got me choked up!!!! hell no!!!!!!!!! it's too good ur advertising's gotta be stopped
the moment i see the description warning the video will have discussion of eating disorder i immediately KNOW it's gonna be about how akihiko's diet is unhealthy but woooooow the way the dialogue written takes the quality up to another level overall holy shit everyone involved in this video creation did a great job

Clicked on this thinking it was going to be a meme and got a wonderfully composited, acted and lovingly written character study instead. (That was still pretty funny in its own way, while still being serious.) What a treat. Would adore seeing more videos like this ♥️

WOW this was super well done!! definitely gave me something new to read later, but i love how you framed this along with your expression work and even without the complete context, i think the emotions and thought processes the both of them are experiencing come across very well. would love to see more!!!

I really liked a multitude of small choices that made this feel more .
I really liked how Aigis speaks all her dialogue in one go, while Akihiko leaves pauses, breathes and sighs. Also, at 6:49 when Aigis is interrupted, it sounds like an audiochannel being turned off, rather than a human being interrupted.
Aigis really reminds of other female robots in Ex Machina, I Robot, Ghost in the Shell or Virtue's Last Reward.
I wonder what music would fit for this scene? (Maybe something from Virtue's Last Reward again?)
This is really good. You do a good job with the characters and the topic. Akihiko’s reactions vs Aigis little reaction (but still clearly caring) is really really nice!😊 good work
Truth be told. I thought Akihiko was still trying to come to terms with shinji's passing
i really like how this shows aigis trying her best to care for the other sees members in her own way, amazing character work in this and I love the voice acting? its kinda flat in places (for akihiko most notable, aigis gets a pass) but I think its quite charming!! overall feels very inspired :D
Hoping the comment will get this farther! Would love to see more of these with different chatacters!! Your characterization of Aegis and Akihiko is great, really loved watching this the whole way through.

You did a better a job at characterizing Akihiko than Atlus IMO
this is REALLY good, but was Akihiko the best choice here? him eating well appears to be a habit he's really open about in his Link Episode/Dorm Hangouts. Would Junpei not have been a better choice, maybe?

Okay, this is cool and all, but why did you pick Akihiko for this? I mean, out of all the people in S.E.E.S. Akihiko is the most unlikely one to be having a eating disorder or at least one related to malnutrition.
I just think anyone would've been better for this. Like Shinji maybe.
Would also make more sense about why he'd get offended so easily.
Also, remember kids! If someone gets defensive about something, that means they're insecure about it. Which means either they don't stand fully behind their own decisions, or now that what they're doing is "bad".
It's from a fanfiction linked in the description which (if you don't mind the CW) I really recommend. Personally I think it really fits Akihiko - ED is all about control and Akihiko's arc is accepting that you cannot control everything and protect people from bad things no matter how strong you get and how hard you try.
