Absolutely. I wish Ethiopian stopped buying Boeing until they get their shit straight. I'm a frequent traveler but I won't get on a Boeing 737. So my trips to Kenya are restricted
Love Ethiopian Airlines and Bole International Airport is good and clean. Only thing is the outlets for phones charging, not good and not enough. A part from that, I stick with Ethiopian Airlines for long time.
Hi. We were not allowed to leave the aircraft at Rome and had to remain in our seats for the one hour on the ground. Also no passengers joined us at Rome. It was the same passengers that started in Addis Ababa that will continue to Toronto
There is something about the A350 😉. It was my second time on it on the way back to Canada. Would love to the world longest flight on SQ on those A350 ULRs . Been on the 787s with ANA, Oman Air, Air Canada and Gulf Air. Thanks for watching.
The flight to Addis Ababa is non-stop from Toronto (Trip report coming up 😉). The flight to Toronto is via Rome due to Addis Ababa''s high elevation. Thanks for watching
Except for the delay out of Addis Ababa, everything was smooth with Ethiopian 👍 In fact the security lines moved fast... A lot faster than at Middle Eastern airports 🙂.. The layover was handled well, though it was not at the Skylight hotel yet the food was adequate and the room was minimal but provided a free rest of a couple of hours. Would have loved to have done an Addis Ababa tour...maybe next time
I do not prefer the A350 with this airline, I prefer the 787. Other A350 operators better than this A350 operator include Qatar, Singapore, Finnair, Lufthansa, Delta and Qantas! Qantas A350: "Project Sunrise"
I flew Ethiopian from Nairobi to Dubai and back and I have decided never to fly Ethiopian again. The primary reason was Bole Airport. It is a chaotic mess. My son needed to use the bathroom in Addis and it was flooded and dirty. They did not seem to care about cleaning the place. No thank you. I rather pay more to fly another airline. Just flew KQ to New York. The service was nice. We also flew KQ to Zanzibar before connecting to the New York route. Excellent Customer Service. JKIA was clean. Restrooms were super clean at JKIA with attendants on stand by.
@@TheTellingU Really!! I guess you don't fly that much. Hartsfield International airport is extremely important for Delta. London Heathrow is critical for British Airways, Dubai Airport is the heart and Soul for Emirates, Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport is home for Kenya Airways, and as such Bole is the life line for Ethiopian. Without a Central Hub an airline cannot connect it's routes , service its planes or function as a serious airline. The hub is the nucleus of its operations, and as such Bole is a terribly managed chaotic airport. Customer Service is non existent. Basic amenities such as fine dining or clean lavatories do not seem to be a priority for Ethiopian. If you have a long layover at Bole, it will be hell. .
I’m Ethiopian and I have similar experience from bole, but this was more than 10 years ago. I would hope the new terminal expansion would’ve improved things but the underlying issue is that the airline outgrown Bole. They’re planning a new airport city that will be even bigger than Heathrow, but construction hasn’t begun yet.
did you have to change aircrafts in Rome? or did you remain on the same plane? did you have time to get an Italian transit visa to do this route? thanks!
The start of the journey on ET 695 now on my channel. Please check it out 😊

Ethiopian airlines the best airline in Africa 🌍
The Airbus A350 is majestic. And in Ethiopian colours it's just beautiful. Especially those winglets ❤

Great Video. Flying this by end of May, 2024. I became curios to know how the flight is. Thank you for taking time to make it.
How was your experience? How is the Rome Airport like?
Hi. We were not allowed to leave the aircraft at Rome and had to remain in our seats for the one hour on the ground. Also no passengers joined us at Rome. It was the same passengers that started in Addis Ababa that will continue to Toronto
Nice flight review. I am a fan of the majestic Airbus A350 as well.
Thanks for watching 🙂
Great video. Thanks for sharing. keep it up.
Thank you for sharing love ☕
I flew this same route ADD - YYZ, only difference was we stopped in Dublin instead of Rome for a crew change. I love Ethiopian. Great flight review 💥

Ethiopian airplane with a sunglass (raccoon), great!❤!
I think most enthusiasts love the 787 more than A350 with this airline!

@@mpaul2012 Since you live in America, try Qantas from Australia to USA on the A350ULR in 2025!
Will most definitely look into it 😃
@@mpaul2012 Thanks! Greetings from Singapore!
Awareness. Qantas will not start flying it's A350s until MID 2026. You can do so in 2026.
Beautiful. Flying to Zambia Ndola from Frankfurt in two weeks. Looking forward. What Seat was that on the first Flight?
It was the same seat 💺 on both flights 🙂. Addis Ababa-Rome-Toronto. Enjoy your flight.
I flew on that plane previously to Dublin and from now on, 15 days left till flying to Rome 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Enjoy the flight on the A350
Hey guess what?
Today I'm going on that flight!
Fantastic!! Enjoy your flight ✈️ 🙂. Love the A350 👍
Very nice video and whats the name of the song in the intro
Thanks for watching 🙂. It's the Ethiopian Airlines boarding music.
do they not fly nonstop anymore? I flew ET direct from Toronto to ADD on the 777-LR in 2019
The flight to Addis Ababa is non-stop from Toronto (Trip report coming up 😉). The flight to Toronto is via Rome due to Addis Ababa''s high elevation. Thanks for watching
@@mpaul2012 What did they (and you) do while at FCO? Were they just servicing the plane? I presume you weren't allowed off.
That's correct we were not allowed to leave the aircraft
Well done.
Thanks for watching 🙂

What does Bole airport has to do with Ethiopian airlines??? The airlines is different than the airport.

The stop in Rome was a technical stop to refuel and we had to remain on the aircraft. No transit visa was required.
