I look for the basics, gesture, structure, proportions and contour accuracy. If all of those are well dealt with I move on to the internal shapes. If those are well drawn I move on to worrying about planes, volume and transitions within and around those forms. Whenever I feel doubt I repeat the process and run through my checklist again. If I can't find an answer asking those questions, I progress the work SLOWLY towards what I think will be a finished state. Then I will ask the same questions again and usually I will find an answer. It's all about asking questions and being an active participant.

Thank you 🙂
What do you do when you feel kind of dont know what to do when arriving at certain stage in the sculpture?
