Also there is a dam called Mulaperiyar which was built in 18th century,It also posses biggest risk.

If something happens to Mullapperiyar dam, the officials of the Central Water Commission will be made accountable.. Its solely on the basis of their report that the Supreme court delivered its verdict in favour of Tamil Nadu and allowed the dam to continue as it is now..
