@@jamesdee4773 agreed, Benny Hill, had the highest respect for women, I heard it on an interview some years after Benny died, and it was one of Hill's Angels that said it, all the stuff in his television series was purely for entertainment and at the end of each episode, it was the women that started chasing him as the tune Yakety Axe was playing I've actually got the tune on a Country and Western CD boxset Chet Atkins is the artist, Ben Elton, was highly jealous of Benny Hill's success and the sad thing is, ITV had already signed Benny Hill, up to make a TV comeback when he died from a heart attack, and Benny Hill, despite all his wealth and fame, he lived in a Council Flat, Benny Hill, is known even now in a lot of different Countries, how many people have heard of Ben Elton, outside the UK, plus Ben Elton, dropped off the TV radar back in the 1990s, after his 2 series Thin Blue Line, with Rowan Atkinson aired on the Telly, I've watched a lot of sitcoms and other comedies on television, since I was a kid in the 1970s and the older ones to me still are the best, of the later ones I do like include My Family the one about the dentist, starring Robert Lindsay, of Get Some In and Citizen Smith, and Horatio Hornbower, and the fact that the majority of modern sitcoms ect, don't start till nearly twilight (12 am midnight) shows me that unlike Benny Hill, and others of his day are not family friendly, give me classic sitcoms like On The Buses and sketch shows Benny Hill anytime and I've a few old ones on DVD, including Open All Hours, Porridge and it's sequel Going Straight, Fawlty Towers, Harry Worth, Bless This House, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Nearest And Dearest, Morecambe and Wise, Dave Allen, Spike Milligan, and others and the film versions of On The Buses, and Love Thy Neighbour, some which you probably don't like, I've no idea what other styles of comedies you like, but atleast we agree on Benny Hill,
