Me encantó.

Certainly! Learning through immersion with visual aids and the captions help to decipher words. :) The story is specifically written for intermediates, however, so if you're at a lower level, you may wish to download the English translation from my resource library ericaraylanguage.com/access-spanish-stories/ or check out some of my videos directed to beginners on the channel.

I really like the story and this way of learning. I am curious about one small point. I 'thought' the difference between being called Señorita and Señora had to do with being married or not, and did not have to do with age. In other words, is a never been married 90 year old female a Señorita or a Señora. Thanks for the wonderful story and audio.

Glad you enjoyed it! I believe that technically that is true, but it really just depends on the preferences of who is speaking. Here in Mexico some people call me señorita and others call me señora. 🤷🏾‍♀️😊 And, of course, if you don't know the person then you're going to tend to default to choosing one based on their age.

Wow - I wasn't expecting a reply - especially in one hour. ¡¡¡¡¡Muchisimas Gracias!!!!! - As a quick little story - I went to a restaurant tonight and the lady behind the desk looked like maybe she was from Mexico so I said ¿De dónde es usted? She said Mexico, so i told her I was learning Spanish. She then very kindly spoke to me in Spanish, slowly and thoughtfully and told me to keep trying and that the Mexican people all want to help. I will go back to that restaurant. I have a friend.
