Epic masterpiece mate! That angles so sick and beautifully captured. Shows the proper bulk of the open ocean swells. Darians wave at 2.30 is so mental! Great to see another angle from that epic day.
@@Droneguyben I have tremendous respect for all riders charging these and other monsters. The timing for this was interesting though coz I was watching other tow-in spot vids just prior and was wondering why I never see boogs getting towed on film. The last time I did was years ago but it was a beach break and the guys were getting speed for massive airs. Spots like the right, teahupoo, shipstern etc... are particularly tough for boogs when they get big (less speed, choppy surface = bouncy...) and yet these guys are just paddling in. I was thinking they could get nice and deep like surfers if they also grabbed a rope. To be fair, I haven't specifically looked for such vids but I was surprised to see it in this vid having just thought about it 😀
From the air, via drone, is the ONLY WAY to watch this wave when on your computer, its freakin' amazing from above, even more so !!!
The Bruddah on the Paipo Board was THE Man on that day

Man I never see tow in bodyboarding. The dude got epic waves!
After watching them two, I got a lot more respect for the boog. They get absolutely rag dolled! And so much harder to hold their line 🤯
