I am a mother and a Sunday school teacher. The speech that I have heard today has encouraged me personally so I put it in my car while I was driving the kids to school. My daughter who is a teenager got so encouraged too by Lydia. Especially that she's going to high school and she has a lot of fear about losing her faith. What you did, is great and because it's a from the heart it is so touching. "So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32-33 RSV).

I love this!!!! I had the exact same thing happen to me. My mom passed away earlier this year and she was my best friend, the only difference was I was out of college when it happened. It does really test your faith. But I’m so proud of this girl! That was a beautiful speech that gives God all of the glory! It’s so encouraging to hear these news stories!!! ❤️

I love this!!!! I had the exact same thing happen to me. My mom passed away earlier this year and she was my best friend, the only difference was I was out of college when it happened. It does really test your faith. But I’m so proud of this girl! That was a beautiful speech that gives God all of the glory! It’s so encouraging to hear these news stories!!! ❤️

I attended a public school. My high school choir performed much many of the classics. Those classics had a strong Christian theme. We were proud to perform those pieces. Shortly after I graduated (1970) the non-believers started to complain and they ultimately got their way. No more Christmas concerts, etc. Yo you, young lady, I say WELL DONE!
